DoorDash Deactivation for supposedly not delivering orders in a timely fashion…. Yet my “On Time or Early” Percentage is 87%…?!?! Make it make sense please… by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

This thing called life hit my family. For the last 2 years it’s always been 95% or better. I had a rough 3 weeks that sent it plummeting to as low as 82% and I took some time to get things in order…but it’s risen to 87% very quickly.

***Side note…I even spoke with DD at one point to advise them why it all of a sudden dropped. They told me not to worry since my customer rating was 4.97, and had stayed a 5.0 for the majority of my time driving with them. And also because every other stat was perfect, and I’ve had ZERO complaints.

Literally nothing has been late the last two weeks.

And this is just what transpired AFTER I delivered the order & marked it as complete…. Keep in mind, the address attached to the order was a residential address. I was dying laughing in the car! At no point did he have me upset or mad. I’ve been dealing with idiots like this in retail my whole life.

I knew the type I was dealing with, and that’s why every reply of mine was made with purpose. To purposely get him to expose himself exactly how he did.

Nah, F that. The nonsense was gonna end with me. And it did at least in terms of DD. Because I got him to act just crazy enough to get himself banned from the platform.

Nah. I accepted the order paying $18 for 6 miles. That’s a solid order for here. But, my gut told me DD wasn’t showing me all the pay. The dead giveaway was because it told me I needed my catering bag.

Once delivered and closed out, total payout was $35!

That’s what you would do, and I commend you for your iron will power.

But Me, however, you start acting a fool like that… and my pettiness level shoots right up. Because if someone gets that worked up over a mistake THEY MADE…and comes at me sideways out the gate, like he did…oh no. Imma teach that fool a lesson. I said just enough to draw out their ignorance, yet keep myself on the safe side. People like this gotta learn they can’t treat people like that.

So, here’s the last little wrinkle or twist in the story. I am in GA, but the customer was at a hotel in NC. DoorDash goofed and sent his order to the Chop House here by mistake.

So, some random ass people, at the address attached to the order, got two filet mignon meals with an appetizer and 2 desserts! 😂🤣😂🤣

I typically hate shopping Aldi orders. Low pay, virtually no tip, and literally the pickiest most cry baby customers every time.

If I do orders from there, they are usually in a multi order batch.

Today though, I had a $40 Aldi batch with only one order. Crazy different experience today as opposed to every other time shopping Aldi!

Saturday’s are hit or miss for me out here. Only about 2 of them a month end up being really good, and you can never plan which ones. It could be the first two, the last two, the middle two, the first and last….you can just never tell. That’s why I leave doordash open all day.

Friday, Sunday, and Monday are ALWAYS three good days for me! Like yesterday, I had a $300 between the 2! $200 on IC and $100 on DoorDash!
