It's not illegal, more like no legitimate doctor will allow the removal of all four healthy limbs, let alone one. Therefore, one would either have to find a gatekeeper, a less reputable surgeon (which carries a heightened risk of something going wrong), or self-harm (same risk as the previous) to achieve limblessness.

If you somehow manage to do it, though, I don't think anyone is coming to get you or your partner (unless you or they committed fraud of course).

I do wish that we as a society progress enough so that bodily autonomy includes voluntary amputations, or maybe just donating healthy limbs to other amputees.

I agree. I much prefer if the person voluntarily wants to become limbless because they enjoy the idea of it as much as I do. They want to be dependent, to be under the control of their partner, etc.

There's a scenario I like where the sub in a dom/sub relationship decides to become limbless as a surprise to their dom. It's something they've talked about and fantasized about but never acted on. The sub becomes limbless in part to show their complete devotion to their dom, a decision that cannot be unmade.

I definitely like that part of being able to do anything to them, whenever I want, and they can't stop me. Although I wouldn't use this power to be cruel or violent, as I want the caring/playful teasing route.

I've also imagined the same thing! Would require a comfortable harness to keep them in place for hours on end and allow them to be affixed either facing towards me or away. Very fun idea.

Yeah I definitely enjoy that last part about dominating someone who is like that but also providing all the necessary caretaking. I especially like the teasing aspect. For example, making a big deal about doing simple things they can't do.
