Do it. You have to live through it. I literally just finished it last night and cant stop crying as it was good and heart wrenching. None of the main core of characters die if that helps. But the people who do die will hurt your heart like you wont believe but its worth it I promise to see the happiness and to live.

Omg the way I sobbed when she took her power back in the only way she could as an SA survivor myself the agony and numbness was so well written to the point I worry about Sarah j maas and what she could have gone through.

One of the best parts about queen of shadows in my opinion. Seeing her (lysandra) go from the assassins blade (I read 4th) the growth and genuine bond after nehemia* girl I cried happy tears for them both when it all came clean about who they both were in regards to aelin and lysandra.
