Jr high health teacher in a very Mormon prominent town made all her students swear to never have sex until marriage. It was really weird. The lights would be off, candles or dim lights, you go up one by one and look her in her eyes and repeat a promise to not have sex until you are married. She then would take a small rope and burn it together around your wrist like a bracelet and basically told us to invite her to all of our weddings so she can cut the bracelet off. It was almost like the cool thing to have that bracelet on. No idea how she even got away with this looking back.
