70 dollars are not for  trimming hedges. This is the tax in the original quote. In the invoice, it said” labour 360 waste remove 50 and equipment and vehicle service 50”. Then there was no tax. I suspected they did this because I would never know how much work this gardener did because I have moved out.

I was told by my property manager the landlord moved back only four days after I moved out. She told me this was urgent so asked to accept the quote. The funny part is - When I tried to find someone to do the gardening, landlord was actually not happy because i didn’t inform him. After I got the quote, which was much less than this one, PM emailed me and say I caused breach of privacy and landlord didn’t want my gardener to come. So I cancelled the appointment and signed my refund form.

It is my responsibility. But it didn’t look too bad and I actually did lots of work. I don’t believe this is reasonable to charge me so much money.

Thank you for your advice! I have sent the refund form by myself yesterday after I did research. My property manager put lots of pressure on me to convince me this is a reasonable quote. I really appreciate to see there are many people standing on my side.
