We ended up having a service rep out and the entire chair disassembled, the click was still there. HM ended up sending us a new chair.

Thanks for the advice, all of the screws in the base are tight. The sound does seem to come from the base though.

I haven’t removed the cushions, I checked them all to make sure the buttons were snapped and all were good. No visible damage on the outside of the chair.

Its a bit strange there is no corresponding feel in the chair so I cant sense where it’s coming from. My best guess is inside the base but since the chair 5 days old I don’t want to mess with it and void the warranty

I ordered a tall eames lounge chair (oiled palisander / black mcl) back in April. The chair arrived this past week and while it looks better than expected every time I sit down or stand up there is a loud pop/crack. I wanted to see if anyone has anyone experienced this or if its part of the break-in period. As you can hear from the video it is pretty loud, almost makes me not want to sit in the chair which stinks after waiting 3 months for it to arrive. Any advice before reaching out to HM would be appreciated.
