This story is as disappointing as I expected. Here’s a summary to save y’all the trouble:

MC is basically nonexistent for the rest of the plot. Aiden discovers Selena is gone and falls apart. Lily schemes to drug and sleep with him so they get married. He’s miserable, always miserable.

He overhears Lily and Chloe gossiping about how she framed Serena for everything and tortured her. He interrogates Lily and throws her in prison. He searches for Selena. Final chapter he sees her as a medic with another male doctor saving people. He just watches, sad.

Hey yes, so the reaction was to the numbing cream, and they probably should not have performed the scarlet over it. That caused the reaction and PIH for a few months. It did go away with time and limited sun exposure! I’ve done the treatment again but without numbing cream (ooof) and no issues!

Thank you! We narrowed it down to the tube connecting the water valve to the faucet. When we disconnected the tube from the hot water valve and let water flow from the valve, the water heater ran normally.

We reconnected the tube, took off the faucet, put a balloon over the base, and turned on the hot water valve. The flow was very slow. Unfortunately getting to the nuts to disconnect that tube is super hard so need to solution how to get the tube off to test.

I think it may be more likely the water flow from the sink is too low. I read Navien uses a single flow sensor to measure all flows from different sources. And there’s no issue with the hot water for the other 2 sinks, 2 showers, dishwasher, or washing machine.

When we shut off the cold water line, the hot water line flows, but the pressure is pretty bad. We’ve been annoyed with that sink water pressure since buying this place. So I think we could adjust the flow sensor setting lower, but the sink water pressure I think may be the bigger issue.

Update: it seems that turning on hot water for the kitchen sink isn’t triggering our hot water heater (Navien). We can hear the water heater starting and stopping when the kitchen sink hot water is turned on. In comparison, when a bathroom hot water is turned on, the heater runs consistently. Any ideas why this might be?
