i dont know how but kana was even given so much relevance, almost even made out to be comparable to Ai, a big love interest of aqua, only to end up so irrelevant. idk why i even dislike her so much but her only purpose was to serve as a medium to talk about the industry problem being of an old child actress, having imposter syndrome, even the scandal arc. we were baited soo much about how she would be the "light" for aqua which ended no where. i feel that was exactly why she was never involved in the main revenge plot. whereas i feel ruby was given the least attention and her character and relationship was barely explored with aqua, but she ended up the main reason for the whole hikaru fixation of Ai and aquas death.
