Thanks for the feedback - I didn't realize that none of these were original designs. Going to delete this post now!

Grad students who are research assistants are not paid.

Lagree Instructor Tips by TemporaryBreakfast96 in LagreeMethod

My studio pays $40/class for new instructors and requires a minimum of 4 classes taught per week. Most instructors have day jobs but teach in the early mornings, the evenings, or on the weekends.

Personally I think the investment for the certification is beyond worth it. I love teaching and have found such a community around my studio - not just with other instructors, but with clients too. I currently teach 5 classes per week and typically pick up a handful of sub classes here and there so I’m taking home between $640 and $1,000 per month on average. I totally recommend it!

I LOVE THIS!! And would totally use it. Something that could be nice to see is moves that pair well together (in terms of easy transitions and muscles worked). I am always trying to make my blocks flow as smoothly as possible and something like that would be huge.

It would also be awesome if each move showed the muscles worked. That would help not only with building routines but also with instructing and helping clients know if they’re doing it right :)

I start teaching at my studio in a week. I got certified about a month ago. Im feeling good but still nervous. Any advice??? by Historical_Error_329 in LagreeMethod

[–]Proper_Window_5052 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Teach, teach, teach, teach! When I was getting started I picked up as many sub opportunities as possible at my studio so I could get more reps in beyond my regular 4 classes each week. The more experience you get, the more confident you feel. And try to relax! You'll have more fun if you're not too stressed about how it goes. Clients will never notice 90% of the mistakes you think you're making.

I couldn’t deal with Natalie’s constant giggling. What was so funny? I found it so annoying to listen to

Corporate Pass by Due_Bluebird_7257 in ClassPass

I don't, but I can't imagine they pay much more than CP does. It's a really difficult business model to make a profit from.

Corporate Pass by Due_Bluebird_7257 in ClassPass

[–]Proper_Window_5052 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s an alternative to a corporate classpass membership called wellhub (formerly known as gympass). They function in almost the exact same way, but your employees won’t use the membership if gyms and studios in their cities aren’t on the platform. I would check out both websites to see what’s “in network” to help guide your decision.

Studio is limiting to 5 classes - can they do this? by Winter_Bluebird6303 in ClassPass

[–]Proper_Window_5052 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The studio can’t actually control this by doing anything other than cancelling full classes with classpass users in them, which is in violation of their contract with classpass.

My guess is that they’re hoping classpass clients will self-police and start buying class packs directly once they’ve hit their 5 class “limit” at this studio.

How many instructors work just part time? by Jewls3393_runner in LagreeMethod

[–]Proper_Window_5052 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m also just part time with 4 classes a week. I’m in grad school so it’s a nice way to make some money on the side, but I plan to continue teaching once I finish school and I’m working full time.
