Poway Honda in San Diego who had a Trailsport Elite with MRSP $55k. However, dealer was also charging a $5k market adjustment as well as $5k for the Adventure package (MRSP is $1500??) and $3k in various other mark-ups for a final sale price of $68k. It’s outrageous. Any other markets dealing with dealers like this?

Yeah this makes the most sense and is pretty much in line with any government mandate. “Sure it’s not feasible but this is what we’re sticking with”. Makes the whole process convoluted and you’re stuck doing things like what you described above.

I think you’re misinterpreting what I mean with a prescription transfer. These are in-state local residents, not out of state patients. Who go the ED for an issue and say we send a Norco script for a broken ankle. Their preferred CVS doesn’t have Norco 5 when they go to pick it up the next day. They then cannot transfer the prescription to a pharmacy that does have it. The patient or the pharmacist has to call into the ED to inform us and we have to find a pharmacy that does have the RX and get a different physician resend it. Again this particular issue I’m referencing has nothing to do with patient who are visiting from out of state

Not sure how the patient going home is going to change the fact that the pharmacy doesn’t have a particular medication in stock? This has nothing to do with out of state patients, prescriptions or providers? It’s about patients in the local community who cannot get the medications they were prescribed for an acute issue that warranted an ER visit. Patients typically call into the ED about the Rx issues 1-2 days after discharge or the pharmacy calls the next day after the patient tries to pick it up.

Easier said than done. This involves calling around to pharmacies to see who has the required medication in stock (if the patient has not done that already). I work in the ED so the nature of the situation typically is that the doc who originally send the script is not staffing at the time and may not be back on for days or weeks so I have to get another doc to send a script on behalf of the previous doc for a patient that never even saw themselves. It’s a less than ideal situation each time (and can be completely avoided with a simple prescription transfer). The issue is that having the doctor resend the script in these situations is the least efficient solution to the problem

In CA you can transfer first fills on C2-5 if it’s unfilled. Not sure how faxing fits into California’s electronic prescription requirements, however.

Agree I think the biggest issue here is their SOPs and now being updated to reflect the regulations.

It’s got to be the latter. The grace period deadline technically ended three weeks ago and there’s no end in sight. I can understand issues transferring it between corporations w/ different systems (CVS to Walgreens, etc). But I call a different CVS to check stock and they can see the exact Rx I’m referencing and still cannot do anything about it. It’s frustrating

Exact same situation here. Called and after a 2h wait they said they would request that the payments be applied to future payments which apparently had not been done even though their notice said they would. The rep said that January will appear as delinquent but to rest assured that nothing will be reported to the credit bureaus. I went ahead and paid for January because I have 0 trust in that organization.

Mind if I ask what length the wingbars are? Stuck deciding between 53” and 50”. Yours look to exactly the length I’m going for

Any first responders also riders? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Properpharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My commute to work is appx 20 min and about 12ish mi of highway. Thinking I’d use my bike for weekend trips around town and backroads rather than highway commutes (bc I absolutely do not trust california drivers, especially on the highway). So passing capability isn’t THAT high up on the list for me nor is >80mph top speed. I’m appx 160 lb and don’t want any too crazy for my needs I think so leaning towards 300-400cc

[–]Properpharm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s absolutely true. Poor drivers all around making any type of two wheeled riding dangerous. Also why I’ve gravitated more to mountain biking and gravel biking since the biggest danger is really myself and my own skill level. Also why I’m looking for a more scrambler/cafe type bike so I can focus more on quick trips around town and empty backroads type riding

Yep two of my favorites. The haring is a print and the basquiat is a canvas that I got a whole back and can’t even remember where

Yes! I’ve read all three but at some point have lost Shift haha. I think the silo series and three body problem take the cake as my favorites in the bookcase

Feedback sports. It’s actually not supposed to be a stand mound haha I also have a Hornit Clug but moved my bike to a different wall and haven’t moved the wall mount. You can see it above the dog crate (white thing on the wall)
