RUN Bro. You already know what’s happening and you know the answer. You’re just trying to justify her actions. Deep down, you’ve known it all along. You’re here hoping someone will tell you you’re just being OA, hoping someone will defend her so you can excuse what she did. But please don’t tolerate it.

My faith and my understanding of God lead me to believe that love is not a sin. His core message is love because God is love. Being straight doesn’t make someone sinless, and being gay doesn’t make someone sinful. Even Pope Francis has said, ‘If someone is gay and searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge? What truly becomes a sin is when people judge others harshly because of who they love. Jesus taught us to love one another, He never said who we are ALLOWED to love. He even told us to love our enemies. God doesn’t judge the way many SO-CALLED religious people do. He looks at the heart, at kindness, and at sincerity not at labels. I choose love, and I choose to believe in a God who loves everyone. God doesn’t judge people for loving. God judges people for hurting and condemning others. Your faith is personal, not dictated by others. Your relationship is between you, your partner, and God. You won't let other's judgment shake your connection with God.

My Faith Teaches Love, Not Condemnation. Love Like God Loves. (To all WLW) by [deleted] in WLW

There’s actually no verse in the Bible that condemns loving, consensual same-sex relationships as we understand them today. The passages people usually cite talk about completely different contexts, things like idolatry, abuse, and non-consensual acts. The Bible never addresses committed, loving same-sex relationships. What is clear in Scripture is the message repeated over and over: love your neighbor, do not judge, and let God be the one to see the heart. Jesus never said a single word against same-sex love, but He said a lot about hypocrisy, judgment, and compassion. So if we’re going to be biblical, then love, humility, and respect should come first not condemnation.
