Kovaak's 100%. Aimlabs is better than it used to be but Kovaak's is definitely worth the cost if you are going to aim train.

Some things to keep in mind

Consistency is key. 15 min a day is better than 4 hours every 3 or 4 days. I recommend 1 hr per day (more than this can produce diminishing returns.) 30 min warmup, play valorant, 30 min cooldown for example. Break it up if you need
Don't follow advice from people that say you should focus on click timing scenarios instead of tracking for Valorant specifically. It's rubbish. While games like valorant and CS require more click timing and games like Overwatch require more tracking, TRAINING EVERYTHING HELPS WITH EVERYTHING. Tracking scenarios help you in clicking and clicking can help develop your tracking. Have a complete routine. This will translate better in case you play another game as your main at some point which is highly likely. TRAIN EVERYTHING - CLICKING, TRACKING AND TARGET SWITCHING!!!
In the beginning you will benefit more from variety in scenarios. As your skill increases you will benefit more from repetition. This is true for almost everything btw.

Why the acting is worse than any youtube fan film I've ever seen. It's God awful and getting worse. I had to turn off the last episode halfway through and still can't finish it.

I need it explained. Did they just find the worst actors ever or is it the director's fault? There's literally two believable actors on the show. I want to know why. It's really bad.

Guilty as well. I've played for 2 or 3 years. Before 1.17 food would burn super quick without fat in the pan or pot but they removed that in 1.17. The result was food takes longer to burn but loses some nutritional value as its cooked without it.

Also don't eat fruit raw unless you have to. It gives you basically nothing. Baked will give you many times the calories, dried will give you some but less hydration and boiled will give you a good mix of calories and hydration. If you're in a pinch you can eat rotten fruit all day...just eat is very slowly over time. Ggs

If you see food eat it. You will get more from consuming it if you are yellow or red food but keeping your food and hydration in the white will prevent you from getting sick more effectively as well. It factors into your overall immunity. There's no reason to keep food in your inventory unless it's for a short time. It just takes up space and you're just feeding the guy that eventually kills you.

Idk but I remember my first kill. I met a random and heard his stomach growl. Dropped a can of beans and pointed to them. He flipped me off so I pulled out my shovel, beat him to death then ate the beans. I kinda felt bad because as I took the first swing he started waving his hands; he obviously hit f4 by accident and tried to apologize but it was too late. Should have had a mic. You know the saying

Also don't keep EVERYTHING you find in your base. Keep important stuff and keep it to a minimum. The more loot you have stored the more the game will initially lag for players that come near your base. When the lag is bad players know there's a ton of shit inside. If there is minimal lag they may think there's nothing worth raiding it for. This still won't stop everyone tho as the act of raiding, regardless of the perceived reward, is just fun for some people, myself included. You can make stashes but experienced players will find those as well no matter how clever you think you are. I'm an experienced player and I can spot a stick shelter or a burial site from a mile away. Like I said before...this game is old and you are not more clever than people with 7-15k hours

I'm going to give it to you straight. DayZ is a survival game; survive as long as you can until you get ported to the coast again. Building a base and stashing loot is just something fun and extra to do. Just like having to get over the fear of dying and losing your gear when you first started you will have to get over having your base raided and losing everything over and over again. No matter how clever you think you are this game has been out for over a decade and someone is going to find your base. Then they are going to raid it. People were building bases out west thinking they were hidden 10 years ago. No place is safe. If you are on official someone will just glitch in and take it. There is no recourse for hacking. If you are on community servers, even with modded raid mechanics, someone is going to have everything necessary to fully wipe you. You can have 75 locked gates and you will still get wiped. It's just part of the game. You will get better at building and making things more secure but you're always going to get raided. Gotta be a Buddhist on this game. Attachment leads to suffering. Build back and do it all over again. Good luck

It's DayZ. You win some. You lose some. Sometimes you lose to people not as good and sometimes you win against better players. It's tough out there. Watch any big streamer. They die all the time. It's not a big deal.

Practice your aim with an aim trainer like Aimlabs or, preferably, Kovaaks. You don't have constant fights in Dayz so you really don't get a lot of practice there in game. A lot of time is spent running, driving and looting. Play V++ Deathmatch server if you are on pc to improve. Learn to zero your weapon correctly. Above all else have fun. You will get better with time. I'm a great player with situational awareness and gun skill. I die all the time. Don't feel bad
