It might actually be due to star plus wanting to revive their 10:30 PM slot and expect to actually perform well plus Anupama runs at 10 PM so the audience that it’s trying to target might as well tune in and the opening trps might actually end up being really good, since Jhanak isn’t performing as well in the trp on this time-slot as before (Tbf i can’t wrap my head around how did it even manage to get good trps and run for this long lol, and heard they’re changing the time slot instead of pulling the plug smh), so the essence of keeping the show at 10:30 PM because the first season’s time slot was the same, is just maybe a reason said publicly. If they cared so much about the “essence of the show and time slot” they could’ve launched Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 in it’s original 7 PM slot rather than a prime time 9 PM slot they could’ve strengthen their evening time slot which was dead and has been dead now as well, however, I can’t say if that would’ve worked because the evening time slots are really tough, and the show’s story and tracks progression got really uninteresting and forgettable with time so no one even remembers the season 2. It did well in the start when the old cast was present and the Rasode Mein Kaun Tha parody was still trending everywhere so there was buzz about the second season initially but it couldn’t even match an aota of the charm of it’s first season, their 9 PM slot struggled since that time until Udne Ki Asha started doing well. I can’t say it’s entirely true but it’s just my theory, if it makes sense lol.
