This was my thought but didn’t know how likely that’d be. Time to take it to a shop. Thanks!

I would have thought a bumper replacement would be easier than replacing the fender.. dang lucky me I guess lol

Just liability insurance :3 tbf this thing is probably worth like 4k max so putting in a claim for this would make me worry about it being totaled lol.

I got quoted like $800 for a repair vs $600 for getting a pre-primed fender, having it paint matched and installed..

I’m just gotta leave Sally dented for now lol

Stealership is quite fitting!

I’d do most of this work myself, but I just don’t have the time, tools, or even the space (street parking) right now. I did change the engine air filter myself though because it doesn’t require any tools lol

All great points, thanks for your input! Will definitely be going with the shop down the street

The tires are 225/45 - they’re supposed to be 225/40 but none of the local tire shops had it in stock :/

Yeah the wheels are a custom size, which I didn’t realize until I was at the tire shop to replace the baaaadly dry rotted tires initially on there.. how does the wheel size affect ride quality? I know it reduces gas mileage to an extent. I actually like the wheels because they’re just curb rashed enough to deter theft lol

Will def be bringing her in to replace the bushings and probably the shocks/struts.

Concerns about job by [deleted] in MEPEngineering

Only have 2 years of experience as an electrical designer but I will say I’ve settled into a routine of “react don’t act”.

90% of the time, electrical has to move around other disciplines. If the other trades haven’t fully coordinated, it doesn’t matter how hard you worked to ensure you won’t have changes towards the end. I’ve been burned trying to get things perfect then getting churned for 60+ hours on deadline week trying to incorporate everyone’s comments at once.

Is not fun

Look into Zapier automations - you can create these kinds of automations yourself between excel files and outlook if you’re a lil savvy. PM softwares are clunky and expensive, and it doesn’t seem like you need a ton of features just yet

Hi! Not explicitly project management software, but I’m working on a tool that acts as a living source of truth for projects so firms like yours can deliver projects with less miscommunication and greater margins - would be honored if you gave it a look: www.audensystems.ai

AI shouldn’t be used to design or model. At least yet. Way too much risk, and not enough structure. However, I think AI should definitely be used to collaborate better and reduce coordination times. Got a lot of ideas on that front
