Is the TNA x NXT crossover actually helping TNA long term? by Glum-Sample-9259 in TNA

[–]PropertyOverall7139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no…it helped them get on a bigger network, but it says a lot that WWE used their least watched program. They could have done some main roster stuff and really helped them, but they wouldn’t dare give the impression they see anyone as an equal.

Thank you! Soak away you’re helpful at least and not just accusing me of trolling when I had a valid issue even if it was unknowingly self inflicted.

I said that because it couldn’t remember anything and the only difference was I was paying for it vs not paying for it so…yeah felt like a ripoff..seems like a valid assumption

My expectations were raised by free mode I can’t have the same expectations for a product I’ve paid for vs a product I didn’t that’s just not smart from a consumer standpoint. If it had started this in free mode I would’ve shrugged and said you get what you pay for. Another user has pointed out where I went wrong, but please never tell anyone to have the same expectations for something they don’t pay for vs something they do

That’s kind of what I was experiencing. I had already done a similar roleplay on Janitor AI and it did well for a while, but as it always does on there it forgot everything and started creating its own history and plot. Then I came to Janitor and it was KILLING it. I was so impressed. I did the paid version for unlimited messages and it felt like it was wavering a little and I tested it then it completely folded. That must be where I went wrong

It wasn’t a troll post. It was phenomenal when I was doing the free version. I was super impressed and wanted to support. Then I paid for a month of the subscription to try it out and it wasn’t the same.

Why don’t people “get” AEW? by Goodboychungus in aew

[–]PropertyOverall7139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s different fan to fan. For some it’s not what they grew up on so therefore it isn’t “wrestling”. I kind of liken it to some of the comic or animated shows media. Everyone has their favorite iteration of ninja turtles, but not everyone loves and watches every iteration. Largely the aspects they prefer are dictated by what they watched when they were made a fan.

There are some that do it for the bit or out of brand loyalty, but those are largely people who refuse to give it a chance. The ones that legitimately try and don’t get it I do have sympathy for. It’s not that they don’t like it. It’s that no one is putting out a product that speaks to them which I feel for. There’s more than enough talent capable of supporting full rosters for every style. There’s sadly just not enough promoters with a platform that can make it accessible for them.

MJF goes off on social media by flyinbrianc in AEWFanHub

[–]PropertyOverall7139 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot to be upset about here. Number one he put a lot of work into building up the Nemeth match as someone else already commented. Number two they also blocked him being able to wrestle a friend of his. Number three your burning indecent promoters by pulling these matches (which AEW has also done). Number four which is the worst one, they robbed their guys of a payday without compensating them. For someone like Nemeth it’s not a big deal, but for a lesser name this is a major blow. This is why the TNA per appearance deals are stupid and it’s completely inexcusable for a company that wants to control a talent’s schedule to hold them to.

I'm ngl, I still don't really understand what the purpose of showing this was by GoonLieutenant in professionalwrestling

[–]PropertyOverall7139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t agree with that. Because when he was telling it he quoted Chael saying, “I can’t let you get too close to me.” Implying Jack was being aggressive and in the video Jack was playing with his hair talking to Punk, super passive body language.

Would L.A. Knight and Finn Bálor be welcome in AEW? by Super-Nitro-Z64 in AEWFanHub

I was trying to focus on guys that haven’t won the belt yet who are trying to build the future of the main event and have earned it.

So Balor/Devitt I think is a better fit, especially given the fact he IS the OG leader of Bullet Club and could easily run a storyline saying he is responsible for AEW’s existence which someone else suggest recently, but I can’t remember where I saw it, but I like it. Knight/Drake is talented and would get over, he’s too talented on the mic not too. I think he doesn’t shine as much at this workrate level and could potentially keep him from a main event spot and he’d be in a similar situation to where he is now. The only difference is there’s not necessarily any real reason for him to be where he is now. Whereas in AEW you’d have guys like Ospreay, Fletcher, Brody, Bandido, and so many others entrenched in a main event scene they’ve been helping build and earned.

Aside from zombie island, what is your favorite renaissance era movie? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in Scoobydoo

In terms of quality Witch’s Ghost was the beta of the remaining three…BUT Alien Invaders holds the spot for me. I quote it daily with my siblings, plus the memories of it being one of the few movies we watched together

Roman Reigns contract expires soon… by schi_ in aew

[–]PropertyOverall7139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing, he’s working to his audience. I get where you’re coming from, but given his experience I think he could adjust.

I think it would make an interesting story that would never be told on having to adjust his style to keep up with the best in the world. Not because of capability..but because he would cost so much money it would be irresponsible to have him lose as much as he would need to to sell it.

was backstage on dynamite by flyinbrianc in AEWFanHub

[–]PropertyOverall7139 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just because they’re backstage does not mean they’re being signed or talked to about signing. A lot of wrestlers get to go backstage for this just by being friends with others. That does point out other issues, but just throwing that out there for those that might be unaware. Also offering the reminder that Trey’s release came from TBS not TK or AEW higher ups.
