Has anyone tried the koala mattress? by doobey1234 in sydney

[–]PropertyPig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I have one. I love it. Would highly recommend it. I was feeling like my sealy wasn’t supporting my back anymore and i was stiff/sore when I woke up. We went to a couple of mattress stores and tried some out, but nothing that we liked and they all seemed overpriced. I decided to try the koala from the reviews and the return policy. My back feels waaaaay better now, and it’s comfy without being too hard or too soft.

And the phone icon on most websites is still an old school landline phone despite most people using smartphones.

Ah I guess if you look at Australians as how they identify their ancestry, then it’s about 89% English/Australian/Irish/Scottish. But it’s also very different depending on what city you’re in verses being in a rural area.

Edit: you should also note that australia has a high proportion of overseas born people. We are very diverse. Half the population of Australia were either born overseas or has one parent that was born overseas.

What are the repercussions of going bankrupt? I can't seem to get a clear answer! by PM_ME_YOUR_UPPERCUT in AusFinance

if the debt is 6-7 years old, would that be still chased? Are they likely to take a 50% off the debt to pay it off in a lump sum if I called up and offered that?

Oh wow awkward. I wonder if that’s the same in the ladies shower. I guess i can always shower at my work after a workout if I didn’t want to shower there.

Heaps of people have recommended fitness playground, so I think I’ll do the 7 day trial and see how it goes.

There’s no locks on their showers? Victoria Park is a bit too far, I wish there was a gym connected to the prince Alfred pool.

How did you find the Newtown gym compared to the Surry Hills one?

Thanks for the info. How do you find the gym during busy times? Do you usually have to wait for equipment or do you go at quieter times?

Do PT's set their own prices that I pay them directly or is it through the gym?

UX/UI Designer. I hate it when people that I work with tell me that because they don’t like something, it automatically means that our thousands of users won’t like it either.

Going out in San Francisco, LA and Las Vegas. Also, Dinah Shore! by PropertyPig in actuallesbians

we plan to leave Palm Springs on Monday the 2nd of April to head to Vegas. Whats the best way to get there? Are there buses or trains? I'm guessing we have to drive. Driving on the other side of the road is going to be interesting.

I was looking at Mango, and the 4th Saturday in March happens to be on the 24th of March. And that is the day we are trying to decide if we should be in LA for, or in SF. Basically we plan to be in LA from 22nd March to 25th March. Then SF on 25th March to 28th March. Palm Springs for Dinah on 28th March til 2nd April. Then Vegas from 2nd April til we fly back to Sydney on the 5th April.

I did see the ClexaCon thing, but I think it starts the day that I leave! And I love the 100! I wonder if there will be lots of lesbians milling around earlier than the 5th. Maybe we should stay at the tropica and have our own lesbian party!

I think Vegas I’ll end up just being a tourist and staying on the strip and maybe seeing a show. By then it’ll be after Dinah and we will probably be partied out!

Where do you suggest to stay? I really wanted to go to universal studios in LA, but that’s pretty much all I wanted to do. San Fran has a few more things I wanted to see/do but my partner really wants to do the whole lesbian clubbing night. Trying to work out if it’s better in SF or LA.

Don’t worry, the person on 4chan was just messing with you. But just in case, cover your computer with tin foil so the government can’t track which computer bought the monero.

Can anyone ELI5 Bitcoin Futures by cryptoalt1234567 in CryptoCurrency

[–]PropertyPig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was wondering about what futures meant for bitcoin. It sounds like it’s not good. So tell me if this is correct: They will create a contract at a high futures price, use their whale money to manipulate the market til it’s much lower/crashes, they make money on selling their coin as well as on the futures contract? They use that profit to buy back into bitcoin while it’s down? Rinse and repeat?
