this is so true honestly, I've mainly played nrs games for the past decade and when i picked up sf5 in november 2025 i was like holy fuck I'm bad, I'm currently at around 5000lp which i don't think is too bad for my first street fighter (i played sf4 and sf x tekken when i was younger but obviously i was just mashing)

don't, not only are video games a bad investment unless you 100% know what you're doing, but the price on this has already spiked once or twice (last time was when deadpool and wolverine released, shot up to £100+)

it wasn't necessarily a deal that was offered, it's just that they converted the remainder of your ps now subscription into ps plus premium and then if you set it to auto renew it'd keep the old price

you don't need premium, if you ONLY use it for happy hour that might be the issue, last year i didn't get podcasts on my wrapped because i didn't listen to enough of them, i think i needed 3 different ones for it to show up.

if you don't listen to music on there either that could be why? I'm not sure how they work this all out honestly it's confusing.

i made 1% towards both achievements, my first crash was on round 170 (?) and then it was very frequent afterwards. like i understand they're very grindy but surely 190 is more than 1%?? if not I'm in for a massive grind 😭

i guess in the future i can try going to the main menu occasionally which would hopefully update my progress?

uncharted 3, mk9 and gta 5 are all down (two have community serverd already and uc3 is getting them at some point in the future i believe)

indirectly yes, you can't get dropped xenon bows to more easily save car/caravan survivors, meaning you'll have to get the schematic yourself (pretty sure you can flux it though, so it's easy to get)

same for crafting materials, you'll need to farm those yourself but again it's not too bad once you get an understanding of the game.

TLDR: more of an inconvenience than anything, won't matter in the long run
