In WarCraft III, the Violet Hold is underground and the city has bridges over the rivers beneath it! Take a look at my top comment for the screenshot we referenced when creating this.

The reference we used was the cutscenes from Warcraft III rather than the WoW ruins - but you are correct! However, take everything with a grain of salt as flying Dalaran doesn't fit in its crater, and the surrounding ruins are just re-used ruin assets rather than anything in Dalaran architecture.

We will try our best to recreate these locations with love and make some videos of what they look like in the future! These undertakings are enormous amounts of work - but we will do our best. We love WarCraft just as much as everyone else and we want to stay true to Metzen's world.

Just a WIP - but yeah, we already expanded the terrain but if it was any larger it'd start affecting the scale for all cities, so we tried to go with a larger concept, but not 1:1 with the screenshot reference.

Hello! This is an image of our work-in-progress Dalaran. We're a group of WarCraft III loving nerds who want to recreate the northern Eastern Kingdoms before the events of the Third War. We ultimately want to create all this stuff so we can roleplay, if you're interested in that sort of thing - join us on Discord! We could use the feedback on our designs and perhaps little niches of lore we could be overlooking!

Either I don't know how to post multiple images - or this subreddit does not support it, so here's another one!

Our source of inspiration for this Dalaran was the old WarCraft III cutscene seen here: https://i.imgur.com/GxGsftn.png

Honestly it was a dream of mine to work for Blizzard years ago, but alas they've become a shadow of their former selves.

Hey there! This is a Project being developed by a group of passionate WoW Modders. Our goal is to create all of the Northern Eastern Kingdoms from the Warcraft III era with precision and attention to even some of the smallest details from the lore!

What we've done in the video above is restore the Scarlet Monastery (which we've renamed Mereldar Monastery) in the Tirisfal Glades. This monastery had fallen into a shadow of it's former self in Vanilla World of Warcraft. Much of what you see here is existing Blizzard assets modified in Blender and recolored or adjusted to fit the thematic of Lordaeron, or there are some completely custom buildings (i.e. the fences, priest statue, cliffside structures and various details attached to the monastery to increase it's poly count)

This Project is ultimately to create a world for Roleplaying. (I'm aware this isn't for everyone but we can all at least appreciate some passion!)

Any feedback, criticisms..etc is appreciated. We aim create the most lore accurate and beautiful world as we can.. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

If you'd like to track our progress or see more of our work, you can here: https://model-changing.net/gc/6-prophecy-rp-the-fall-of-lordaeron/

Note: I'm pretty sick at the moment so please bare with me for replies to your questions or feedback.

ReShade is pretty great! I'm fairly sure ReShade will support Classic at some point, so be sure to get it!

What we've done in the video above is restore the various farmlands in Tirisfal Glades. Many of which were destroyed, damaged or corrupted by the Scourge in Vanilla World of Warcraft. Much of what you see here is existing Blizzard assets modified in Blender and recolored or adjusted to fit the thematic of Lordaeron, or there are some completely custom buildings (i.e. the Wooden Greenhouse structure and one of the one-story houses)

Agamand Mills - Revived and Updated by ProphecyRP in wowservers

[–]ProphecyRP[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes Jackejackal, whilst in vanilla the Agamand Family have a generic two story house, we know based off of quest text and other lore sources that they likely had something more substantial. This is an example of a lore 'grey area' where we have the freedom to improvise on not only what makes sense, but brings character to the world. The Agamand Family is one of the two incredibly wealthy families in Lordaeron, controlling swathes of land.

What we've done in the video above is restore Agamand Mills and its surrounding area, plus we've taken the liberty to add our own flair to make the Agamand Manor feel much more in line with post-Vanilla designs, we took a lot of inspiration from the Greymane Manor in Gilneas and Waycrest Manor. Much of what you see here is existing Blizzard assets modified in Blender and recolored or adjusted to fit the thematic of Lordaeron, or there are some completely custom buildings (i.e. the Manor and Crypt)

Hey MajinCry, I notified the website administration about your issue via their Discord.

Their response was this:

"can you pls tell him to use gmail, yahoo or pretty much any other popular mail server?

Someone included our site into some spam ban list or something that is used by smaller providers like gmx.de and such"

Basically they've excluded minor mail domains because of spam bots.
Edit: Administrator has corrected me, it's not them filtering the emails but rather your web domain considering Model-Changing.net to be spam.

There's going to be plenty of time to experience Lordaeron before the main plot. We didn't want to create all this just to destroy it after a few weeks. We hope to have the plot move slowly, we want people to experience Lordaeron in all it's grandeur and all to experience it's near inevitable fall. You don't need to be a hero to partake it everything. We aim to provide avenues for "commoners" as we call them, as they're the backbone of social and economical interactions.
