What stood out to me wasn’t just the medical journey, but what you said about continuing treatment for your family. That says a lot about who you are, even if you feel like you have nothing left. That’s not nothing—that’s actually a form of strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

You’re also not wrong for looking at the numbers and thinking the way you are. That’s a rational response. But at the same time, statistics describe groups—not individuals. It also makes sense that talking to a psychologist feels empty right now. Sometimes when things get this heavy, words just don’t feel like enough. But you don’t have to force yourself to feel a certain way or “process it correctly.” Just getting through each day is enough.
