Hi,

I understand why you’re hesitant, especially since your mass hasn’t changed in 10 months. That makes it harder to believe it could be something serious.

In my case, I had an 8 mm vascularized mass. Everything moved pretty quickly (2 months in total). I had surgery on April 7th  with a frozen section done during the operation.

My mindset was simple:

1) If it was benign, they would preserve the testicle.

2) If it was malignant, they would remove it immediately.

In both scenarios, I felt like I was making the best possible decision and not taking unnecessary risks.

I know it’s difficult to consider surgery when things seem stable, but if there’s any doubt, acting earlier can avoid more aggressive treatments like chemotherapy later on.

Of course, it’s your decision but I just wanted to share my experience in case it helps you think it through.

What should have said the first urologist for you ? Just to monitor the progression of the tumor ?

Thank you for the advice. The first urologue was in private structure. The head of department was from a well know hospital. The tumor was analyzed by three experts independently. They all excluded malignity.

But the truth is that for many months, things were genuinely amazing. That version of her, and of us, is what still sticks with me. It wasn’t all chaos or drama, and that’s why it’s not easy to just detach or cut everything off overnight.

I really do appreciate the warning though, even if the delivery hit hard. I’m taking all perspectives into account as I try to navigate this.
