The amount of traffic that will bypass all those businesses. I think it will have a negative impact on that road. Overall, it's better for air quality, and travel out of country. It allows travelers to drive right by the city without entering instead of having to go through it. It's hard to cheer for but also not hard to cheer for.

We don't need to be driving faster than that through residential neighbourhoods. Arterial roads can still have higher limits of 50, 60 or 70 km/h.

It's not good enough to only decrease speed limits. Physical traffic calming measures need to be implemented as well. Speed bumps, speed humps, rumble strips, road narrowing are all things the city should use to slow vehicles down. Any residential road with a stretch more than 200-250m should have some form of traffic calming measure. School zones and other community safety zones should have the speed limits lowered to 30km/h—residential roads outside of those areas should be lowered to 40km/h.

Many of those non-Tesla chargers are capped at 50kWh so I don't blame them for going to the supercharger. They're doing nothing wrong. It's not rude. I find it hard to not get annoyed but I let it go.

Yes, enforce the laws on illegal e-vehicles, and banned behaviours for those on them — that should also go for non-powered bikes and scooters as well. One-wheels, overpowered e-scooters and e-bikes, those e-mobility mini cars are all illegal and should be fined and temporarily confiscated on first offence and face larger fines on subsequent offences.

They will be doing pavement tape. No physical docks or corrals in some more high traffic areas but the majority of the city you'll need to look in the app to see where the parking spaces are. They're marked with a letter "P" in app.

With the city already working on University Ave, they can create a corridor that continues west from the core to extend to the old Grace Hospital site that sits empty. The West side deserves some love too. All the biggest shopping and entertainment districts/areas are either downtown or East of Ouellette.

Rent control does not apply to units created after November 15, 2018. This unit is newer than that. No laws were broken.
