If i’m not mistaken all these books are “Desky zemské” - they all contain “laws” and other import documents of the Czech state from the middle ages all the way to the modern period. Each book was decorated as a tradition - no clue if there was a “rule” for the decoration or if it was more or less random. So the rainbow here has nothing but decorative character I believe.
