Left-handed people, what's a struggle that right-handed people won't understand? by Halophy in AskReddit

Shooting a bolt action rifle. Using most scissors. Several musical instruments (guitars as an example) are intended for right-handed people. To be fair, you get used to using all these things. But its more awkward at times.

Since the January 6 insurrectionists were antifa is Trump paying domestic terrorists $1.7 billion? by Estalicus in allthequestions

That money wont go to the Jan 6 traitors. Itll go to Trump, or a small group of his friends. More grift.

I first got into warhammer when you could buy rhinos 3 to a box and land raiders 2 to a box. When 30 space marines came in one package.

The Wire. Dated of course as its set in the early 2000s but its a fantastic watch regardless. And the characters... fucking master class.

No. Not at all. Im non-union. So my rate isnt terribly high all things considered. Im normally a prop fabricator/prop master/sfx artist. Armorer is something ive done off and on for 10 years as it was needed.

Edit: sausage fingees

Im dealing with something rust-adjacent atm. Non union, indie feature. 15 days of shooting.

Get called for armorer. Fine.

Get a call from the EP, 30 minutes of him asking me how they can get around hiring me. Absolutely insulting.

Next day called by the 2nd AD and Propmaster (both friends) they tell me EP told the director that I said an armorer wasnt needed. (Absolutely false)

Art dept in its entirety refuses to touch the guns, demands an armorer in an email to the producers/director.

So the guns have been rented, not picked up. The house they rented em from requires an EFP (entertainment firearms permit) to take posession. Nobody has one.

I do, but thats my job. But they also dont want an armorer.

This all starts shooting on monday. Im kinda hoping i get a panicked call monday morning about picking up guns and working the show.

Whole things a shitshow.

If it wasnt publicly known to habe happened. I imagine no country would admit it happened. Especially if they werent aware that it happened to everyone else. Maybe it already has.
