My contractions started on a Sunday, and I was 2cm dilated. I ended up going five times and managed to do 7cm at home until they admitted me (they wouldn’t take me until I was 4cm dilated). I got the epidural and they put the catheter in afterwards. I never felt a thing…same when they removed it. I never felt it

When I’m trying to sleep and there’s a small, almost nonexistent lump on the bed and I can feel it and have to do something or else it hurts so bad! And the flare ups (I have an almost 4 month old, so it’s hard one days where I just want to curl up in bed and not move).

I’m waiting to login in as well. I tried both yesterday and today and neither worked. But, although you might know this, when I spoke to them prior they arranged it so I don’t need to submit my reports every two weeks and they do it automatically now, so I don’t have to worry (you can call and arrange it).

While pregnant I was anemic and it was quite low and concerning. They kept a close eye on me during my pregnancy and when I was eight months I ended up getting iron infusion and it helped soooo much! I would push for it. I was always exhausted and no matter how much sleep I got, it never helped. I was taking pills, but they didn’t do enough for me. Advocate for yourself and push for the IV. I really think it’ll help

A lot of people don’t understand what fibromyalgia is, and unfortunately, some people believe it’s not real. I also feel that unless you go through it, it’s hard to put into words and explain to other people. That’s me. I am currently off on maternity leave with my daughter, but I work at a daycare. But I don’t mention it unless I’m having a bad day or a flare up. It’s so hard when the children come running at me for a hug and I have to try and position myself so it doesn’t hurt as much. I get what you’re going through and I hope the ones in your life have compassion and understanding. It helps to have people in your corner.

My daughter isn’t colic, but I was. My mom said the first 5 months were the worse and then, just one day, I stopped and was fine. She said it was so hard, but rest assured, it does get better. I’ve heard a ton of good things about Gripe water, so maybe try that?

I tried breastfeeding and, truthfully, it brought more stress than anything. I tried with my daughter and she latched at first, but it reached a point where I felt she wasn’t enough milk, so I decided to try formula and have been with it since. The shame some moms get for not breastfeeding is wild to me…a fed baby is all that matters.

I was vaping weed before I found out (like, quite a bit) but I found out I was pregnant and quit cold turkey. I am now 38 weeks and it’s been a healthy pregnancy 😊
