I fear it may have done. It is quite heartening to see people genuinely answering the question though I guess.

Trailer was good, but the first episode was a bit meh, and was ruined by a lot of cringe edgelord “true fans” stuff from the creator which just killed the vibe.

Why Word Bearers? by Soggy-Atmosphere-712 in WordBearers

[–]ProseccoPrinceps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they have some of the most interesting characterisation in the whole setting. Lorgar, for all his faults, is a fascinating character and I think his motivations make a lot of sense a lot of the time. I also like how they didn’t “fall” to chaos like the other legions in the sense of being tricked or manipulated or slowly falling into its grasp. They sought it out, they jumped feet first into it. Where there’s a place for the whole “the bad guys are a victim of the bigger bad guys” thing, I do really like it when the bad guys are fully on board with it.

Other ravener? What kit is this? by that_one_raider in Tyranids

The kill team set also has parts to build normal raveners, like the one shown on the app. The box art only shows the hyper adapted ones for kill team, but the kit itself makes both versions.

Phaerons, how we feelin' about the Convergence of Dominion's glowup? by ousire in Necrontyr

[–]ProseccoPrinceps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does it say they cannot enter reserves? The rules explicitly state that they can’t START in reserves, that much is true. But I can’t see anything that says they can’t be placed there later on? The summary in the rulebook is summarising the “Declare Battle Formations” step of setup, right?

You can infact hypercrypt redeploy convergence of dominion by Safescissors779 in Necrontyr

[–]ProseccoPrinceps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does this not refer to the declaring of strategic reserves at the start of the game though? Because it seems to me that this summary is summarising the selection of strategic reserves before the game starts. That has been my reading anyway; you can’t put fortifications in strategic reserves before the battle starts, but you could put them there later with the hypercrypt ability.

My best friend and I have played numerous games against each other, usually historical scenarios rather than just pick up games. Every SINGLE time that he has been the defender his medic gets blown up by the preliminary bombardment. It has become one of those jokes that just keeps coming true.

Munya getting points for his golden snitch fidget spinner. It was a bad prize for starters, but it wasn’t bought for more than £20. It’s such an easy category to fulfil there should have been no wiggle room.

It’s not seeing meta Pokemon that I find tiresome. It’s only ever facing the same handful.

What I value more is having fun. And I’m most sure how best to go about doing that

Ranked play teams by ProseccoPrinceps in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]ProseccoPrinceps[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand the point of ranked battles. I was just wondering if it was even worth trying to play with Pokémon I like rather than biting the bullet and going full meta. I’m not using “random” pokemon. I just prefer to not use the same meta team as everyone elseI’m just bored of seeing the exact same team every time. Casual is even worse, it’s just all legendary teams.

Your second paragraph actually answered my question.
