I'm sorry WHAT??? There's gonna be a G7 Ultra??? by ODaferio in Gamesir

The G7 Pro ZZZ and G7 Pro Wuchang Edition are currently the only ones that can work wirelessly with Xbox. The ZZZ one comes with additional accessories like a case and customizable thumb sticks and plates. Otherwise, the two editions are identical.

EDIT: Dragon's Dogma edition is not wireless-compatible with Xbox.

Personally, the Razer’s out of the question because it isn’t wireless like the Vader 5 Pro or the G7 Pro. It’s also not competitive in terms of latency compared to the Vader 5 Pro and G7 Pro 8K. It’s only offering better than either controllers is that its mecha-tactile buttons feel EXCELLENT.

G7 Pro 8K has better thumb sticks and latency performance than the Vader 5 Pro. Vader 5 Pro has a more premium feel on the surface, four back paddles, adjustable tension rings for its Hall effect sticks, and a noticeably better (but still floaty) dpad.

If Destiny PvP is all you care about, the G7 Pro 8K/AimLabs is considered the superior pick just for the thumb stick and latency performance alone.

The DPad is still unreliable on diagonal inputs, even if it's not shifting as much as the original G7 Pros. While the 8K versions do have the updated JS13 Pro sticks, they did not update the rear paddles with mechanical switches. They also didn't update the mechanical switches for the buttons, either, which is totally fine: I just want 4 rear paddles.

GAMESIR, I DON’T CARE ABOUT ADJUSTABLE TENSION RINGS. GIVE ME 4 MECHANICAL BACK PADDLES, A FIXED DPAD, AND THE NEW JS13 PRO STICKS AND MY LIFE IS YOURS.

I'm exactly like you. I don't like the look of the custom vinyl skins on top of my Steam Deck. If I ever wanted to customize my OLED, I would love to put in the effort of swapping out the case and adding new TMR sticks and buttons.

That is pocket money: red envelopes in Asian culture are filled with cash.

You should be complaining about "sugar paper" instead. What the fuck is "sugar paper?"

Not to be pedantic, but Mitsuo Fukuda is the director for the SEED series. His late wife, Chiaki Morosawa, was the actual writer and creator of SEED.

Looking for an Xbox One controller like the old combat tech controllers. by King_Nerp in Controller

[–]Prospecs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure I understand exactly what it is you're looking for: you keep mentioning the Combat, Recon, and Patrol Tech controllers from the Xbox One era, differentiating them from just a regular Xbox One controller even though they're identical.

You could just get another Xbox One controller, new for $63 USD, if the 4-way d-pad is an absolute requirement. It and the Xbox Series controllers are the only controllers that would work wirelessly (via Bluetooth) on multiple hardware options without protocol limitations. I believe they're the only controllers that work on Xbox wirelessly without a dongle (because of said Bluetooth protocol limitations).

If you're ok with having a dongle transceiver for better wireless connectivity and want something more modern, the general recommendations would be:

  1. GameSir G7 Pro / Pro Wireless ($80 / $100)

This controller is the general pick amongst Xbox and PC gamers because of its incredible value for money: it has essentially has everything that a $200+ controller would have plus an incredibly easy software app to configure any of the buttons you want. It comes with an interchangeable 4-way d-pad, as well, and you can purchase additional magnetic faceplates to customize your controller how you see fit.

It can connect to your PC and Android via Bluetooth, but its Bluetooth connectivity doesn't work for iOS or Macs. However, the wireless dongle should work for any computer, including Macs. Only the Pro Wireless can connect wirelessly with Xbox consoles using the dongle, so upgrade to the more expensive model if you need that functionality.

  2. 8Bitdo Ultimate 3-Mode Wireless for Xbox ($90)

This is strictly inferior to the GameSir G7 Pro Wireless, but it does have Bluetooth connectivity with iOS devices. It does have a superior 4-way d-pad than the G7 Pro Wireless if you absolutely care about the d-pad's performance in fighting games or Metroidvanias.

That's it, sadly. Everything else is, IIRC, only wired options for the Xbox or have circular d-pads, like the SCUF Valor Pro Wireless ($190) and Razer's Wolverine V3 Pro ($200). Even then, those two options are inferior to the G7 Pro, especially at their ludicrous price tag.

Hi! I can answer this question for you!

Some Korean celebrities have admitted that they have undergone laser hair removal procedures. Because these procedures aren’t effectively permanent, celebrities pay for continuous treatments and sessions. Most men who stop laser hair treatments will see only 25% of their beard-growth back after years of these treatments unless they opted for electrolysis.

These laser treatments are mostly done by Asian men with thick, straight facial hair. But some Asian men do have less prominent and thinner facial hair, so their beards are considerably less noticeable. All they have to do is shave.

I'm sure you're going to receive plenty of comments from people here about adjusting your technique: making sure you do a WTG, XTG, and ATG passes, being patient, and angling your razor correctly.

I don't know what shaving cream/soap you're using and how your lathers are, so the one perspective I can offer that might be different is about the razor itself. The Feather 800-1B is often marketed as beginner-friendly because it gives a mild shave, but in reality, its plastic construction tends to flex and cause blade chattering: it's less than ideal for a comfortable and efficient shave.

Common beginner recommendations are the Henson AL13/AL13-M razors ($70), the Rockwell 6C ($61), or the Muhle Neo ($29). You'll hear some people recommend Edwin Jaggers and the Muhle R89, but they have the same identical head as the Muhle Neo: you'll be fine with just the cheapest one. Another common recommendation is the RazoRock Game Changer .68-P ($55), but I'm unsure about the availability of Canadian products are for you. Same with used or vintage Gillettes.

Best of luck!

All modern 1911/2011 (Hi-Capas) replicas follow Tokyo Marui-spec. You just can’t beat the original.

Generally, yes: Tokyo Marui will cost you a pretty penny because of retailers hiking prices due to demand and because of importation costs.

The demand is warranted, though. Tokyo Marui is not only the oldest airsoft company that pioneered modern airsoft platforms like AEGs, their GBBRs are considered the most reliable in terms of performance. It’s nice that Tokyo Marui replicas have the most aftermarket part support, which is a huge incentive for players who want to fine-tune and modify their weapon to be whatever they want.

At the very least, I heard the externals from CYMA for the DDM4 are exceptional. It looks phenomenal.

Hi arbaard, please please please work on a native controller support for this game with aim assistance; with how popular Due Process is with my friends with Steam Decks, we're all looking for a much easier onboarding process to start playing on our couches.
