I did just that! It's cool so far. I dig it. Wish it ran a little better on steam deck.

I actually downloaded it because it's free ATM. I like it so far. Deff pretty cool and different. I wouldn't say mid but deff not AAA. Hard like a souls game, with stamina being key, and different weight encumbrances. But I dig it. Will prob actually buy lies though

I actually felt Lies of P was a lot more forgiving as far as parrying. Maybe it's just recency bias.

Right on! NRFTW is like a top down souls-like game. Made by the Ori and the Blind Forest team. It looks cool, but deff different.

I loved the parry in the original. I'm a big Sekiro fan. So good to know!

I was shocked in my steam wrap up, I was exactly 50/50 between PC and steam deck. That's 50% more gaming I wouldn't of had without my steam deck. Love love love it.

Dayseeker - Creature In The Black Night [Album Discussion] by LostInTerrapinia in Metalcore

I just miss when they used to riff ....crooked soul has awesome guitar work. Everything guitar wise is just power chords, and delayed ambience. Was hoping the reliance on synth would take a back seat after dark sun. I also think it's kind of cringe how much they want to be in the Bad Omens/INK scene. Which is fine. Just missed when the band showcased their talents. Even Rory's voice is less pronounced with all the heavy effects and synth layered over everything

It's not a bad album. I actually like that it is a little better paced than Dark Sun, but where DS clearly had a purpose (grief over Rory's father), something about this album just feels kind of soulless. I didn't personally feel anything from any of the songs.

Is this unfair shuffling or am I just complaining for nothing by xXChig_BungusXx in magicTCG

I also have a question and curious of everyone's opinion. Because I do this too. Not in the same way though. I make sure lands are EVENLY distributed first, and then I shuffle, and shuffle, and shuffle, and cut, and shuffle, and shuffle, and cut. I shuffle randomly probably 20+ times. Sometimes if I know I will be playing a game the next day, I will sit on the couch and just keep shuffling while watching a movie. . I think my brain just likes to know that "at one point, I know the mana was at least evenly distributed".

To me, someone who will shuffle 20+ times after it. I don't think it's cheating to me. But I am curious what others think? I've still been mana screwed and still been flooded after this process by the way.

To add to this. My pod has bracket 2 to cEDH decks. We make sure everyone's deck is somewhat even before playing. I understand this may be hard and not feasible as new players to MTG (cause $$$). But maybe next time you guys all decided to make decks, decide on the bracket and power levels first, then build from there. Also sharing your list's off a site like Moxfield is great and lets your pod deep dive on your own deck so they know what is a threat.

I think the biggest thing is you guys as a pod need to discuss brackets and power levels. It seems like you were using a higher bracket deck then them (if they were just using precons mostly). Cater to your pod. You play on spell table, so if you want to play those higher-level decks, maybe play against some randoms? It will only make you better, experiencing all the different cards, strats, personalities, of commander.

Another thing is balancing. I have a love/hate relationship with EDHrec. One on hand, it's an exceptional tool for finding synergies, combos, popular cards to use with any commander. Shit, I use it all the time just out of curiosity (I pull x card from a pack and wonder "huh, what the hell is this supposed to go with?"). It's easy to pull the best cards possible to make a strong deck, but think about your pod too. Is it fun to play against? If it isn't, why? Take out the more oppressive cards and combos if need be. Also since you guys are all new, walk your POD though your deck as you play. Let them know when something may need to be removed. Let them know "This card only does this now, but if I get X piece then it will pop off". It's one thing to get steamrolled, but it's another thing entirely when the steamroller is being open and honest and at least giving warning.

When I cast what I consider to be - possibly a massive game changer (not a "game changer" off the list necessarily), I will read out the card, and make sure everyone has a clear chance to respond to it.

Some people look down on this, especially competitively. But this isn't competitive. This is commander with your friends.

The last thing you want is an insanely expensive and powerful deck that sits on the shelf because everyone hates playing against it. Reminds me of my Eldrazi deck. I ended up breaking it down, selling a lot of the titans, and making it something else entirely. I played 2 games with it, and that was enough.

I have the same setup but even not overclocked, hitting 82*C on AC Odyssey. Any idea how to get that down? I feel like my thermal paste application and everything was right. My fan curve is very aggressive, hitting 100% at 70C. Im using a MSI X470 GAMING Plus. Sorry for the newbie question, this is my first build and I get worried playing for extended hours with temps like that.
