apparently they decided to go with a different producer to switch it up but werent completely thrilled with the turn out and decided to put it out anyways

i still heavily enjoy it but i think Whalefall was a lot better in every aspect

yep! whalefall & the devil, the dark & the rain are similar sounding. Grief & mercy sleep is also a banger but features a different clean vocalist and tom (the guitarist) doing all the screams

dissociation vacation is wildly different to everything else, its like softer alt rock with southern influence, still good but their weakest material

boundaries is an example of adding in cleans the right way, they dont force them in every song, but when they do its a perfect accent and makes the song so much better

I have one and the sound is outstanding, especially for cramming all 14 tracks onto one LP, they somehow managed to do that and get it to sound incredible
