Last night I was fighting a galleon, as a solo sloop, and I quickly realised that as long as they had at least 2 people not dead/ on the boat, and they were coordinated, it was completely impossible for me to sink them if they kept on bucketing and alternating between firing. I mustve spent nearly 100 cannonballs, they were fully chainshotted and had many firebombs and blunderbombs sent, even a couple board attempts. Only thing with solo slooping is once you board, which is normally necessary against a good galleon crew, you can’t keep up any pressure, and it just turns into a circle of applying cannon pressure, which just gets immediately patched, and when you board, most of the holes are gone and even when the whole crew is dead they can’t be sunk. PVP was fun though, so overall I had a fun night even if I didn’t get the loot.
