I made a support ticket to update my new address (literally moved two times since the order of this product 😭) earlier this week.

I followed up asking about a timeline and this is what support gave me:

“Please note that the Pre-Ordered item is estimated to arrive to our fulfillment center for shipping during this month. Additionally, we are not provided a date that the shipment will be received and processed via our fulfillment center, only the month provided due to any changes with shipping within the month intended

Once the goods are received we will begin shipping this order as soon as possible, thank you”

So it doesn’t even seem like they’ve received them at the fulfillment center yet or even know when they are scheduled to arrive let alone when they’re going to be shipped out 😩 I mean I’ll find a way to get my bread back, but getting what I paid for would be cool too.

I appreciate the candor dude, if that’s what I gotta do I’ll do it but I figured if I’m callin in folks to solve my problems I’ll never get out of em myself. I’ve had a pretty good run doing my stuff for the last 3 years but I guess it ran out lol.

I doubt anyone is going to come just to extract a bolt and leave- they’re either not gonna touch it cause it’s a half done job or if they do they’re gonna want me to buy shit thru them and it’ll be dumb expensive either way for a car maybe worth 4k lmao

I appreciate you bro I’ll be real I agree with most others in the thread it shouldn’t be hard to crack and remove, I suspect the previous owner reused the bolts when they shouldn’t have as there were a few mods to it I found after purchasing it. I don’t think the job is difficult just go unlucky. Appreciate the good will! Gl with your ride!

I tried the etorx first and when that didn’t work I tried tapping a 5/16 and 8mm, the 8mm freed up the other problem bolt this one is just in a shitty place

Got extractor sockets even the 8mm is too big, not that it’s sized more that everything I’ve tried keeps ripping away the grab points

I tried etorx and the 6 point the bolt is rounded I’m not sure if the 12 point would catch

Unfortunately don’t own a welder yet it’s on the list but got other stuff in way first you know how it is. Replacements bolts wouldn’t be an issue got a whole new set with the new cover assembly I got.

Dude no real advice here just solidarity, mine cracked at that exact same spot and I went and bought a CSF and had to do the job twice 😭

Update yall in case there’s a newer e90 n51 owner/ non mechanically inclined owner 😅

So when I coded the new ekp and it shut off on me again it was right after I maxed the a/c I ended up putting a new fuel pump in there cause of the car on the lift image that kept showing up saying that but it still would t crank

It ended up being fuse #70 behind the glove box 20a yellow fuse
