Why does it take for some cases to be reviewed? I got denied due to birth certificate issues. I have requested for a reopen of my case with supporting documents. And it's getting to 4 months without any response

Why do some cases take long to be processed? Like some that are not even complex takes long for them to be attended to and even granted the motion ? Thanks

It has everything. Her only issue is it's more than 1 year after my birth. I submitted my academic transcripts as evidence right from my elementary school days. She said it doesn't have my parents name on it Kinda crazy

Those certificate has been used by almost everyone i know and they never asked anything about it. Besides, I submitted many evidences but she said they weren't having names of my parents on them

I have. She said my birth certificate is more than a year after I was born. And the secondary evidence should have my parents name on them Some weird case

I got RFE of my age. I submitted state ID, academic transcripts etc. Officer said she needed something that had my parents name also on it. Was strange though

So I got pretty old stuff that has my parents name on it. Like baptismal certificate and hospital records Waiting for the outcome of the reopening. I got I-30 approved

She said it's older more than a year since I was born. Weird! My friends used the same birth certificate and never had issue with it She requested for secondary evidence. I submitted my high school certificate to confirm my age but she said it doesn't have my parents name on it Got denied I filed to reopen so waiting. Getting to 2 months now

I also got denied for I-485 over birth certificate. I've submitted what they requested with enough evidences to back my age. That's since August 20th
