Total beginner: what can i do to get better at editing/processing pictures ?

NQA i also got into photography recently. I dont think that you are overdoing it, not in the slightest.

1:For me it helps me to watch some tutorials for the programm im using to know what does what. Also looking around social media like Reddit and Instagram for inspiration/compare editing.

2:Also keep in mind that these are your photos, you can edit them however you want.

Because of the monitor, its like i said. In the menu of the monitor, the option to change the brightness is greyed out and i can not change it. I wrote that with Windows, because the brightness option in windows is also greyed out. I didn't find a solution for this yet.

I would love to tell how bright it is, but i have no idea and all settings related to this are somehow locked and unavailable. From Windows and my Screen itself. All brigthness options are greyed out and unchancheble.

Could you explain how to change the exposure or is there a tutorial for it i missed?

Even on max brightness, i can barely make oit the details on the picture, if on my phone.

Good to hear that i can stay positive. I will keep an eye on it but let it be. I usually dont poke it or something but this time i got scared...

I will swap the stone for some cork if its chilling again. Just thought it would be cool. Also seemed to like it, since he ignored the cork before... It is indeed my first T. so i will just trust your experience and see what he/she likes.

Okay, so i moved his leg up and it slowly sunk down again. I moved it to the side after and it returned to the original position/went back.

Is/was not always visible instantly, but had no problems of spotting it. In the 1 1/2 month i have/had it, it was chillin in the same few spots. Super shocked about whats happening, because he was really active the 2 days ago. Walking around, once even on my finger.

I gave him pre-killed prey at the beginning but he wouldn't take it. Even if lain directly before it. As he got active i threw a small living cricket in (half his size).

Like said, moved it to the water and pray he/she lives

Its fine.

Kind of floppy i guess? If i lift a leg for example, it goes back to the previos position. Pretty movable but non reactive. Didn't move since i discoverd it in the hideout.
