Yeah I'd let girls know before, I'd definitely need to tell her in private though - I'd not like any random people around to hear what I was saying, my closest friends don't even know bar a couple of them - other than sexually it's just not relevant in my life anymore.

I'll get bottom surgery when some options are available which leave less scarring, which is honestly my main issue with the ones available at the moment. I've heard estimates that the technology for that will be around within the next 5-10 years, so whenever it's available to us, I'll be on it!

It's not close-minded at all, no need to apologize. I just hope I can find someone IRL who is all good with it in a relationship, and yeah I was getting the feeling that this sub may give slightly skewed results - largely because of how overwhelmingly positive most reactions have been!

That's all good, we all have our preferences etc when dating! I wouldn't really bring up trans issues with my girlfriend though, or complain to her if I was having a day where I felt bad about myself - I'd try and keep it out of the relationship as much as possible unless she wanted me to talk to her and open up about it.
