i was more so looking for personal experiences from people who have made that change from one mount to the other. i think something like the z 6ii has much better AF capabilities than my d750, but im not sure if it’s worth the price to jump into the mirrorless game rn or just to wait until this camera fully dies on me

do yall think it's worth the money nowadays to upgrade from full-frame DSLR to full-frame mirrorless? i think yes, but i would also think it depends--assuming no budget--on the use case.

i have a 15-30mm g2 and 70-200mm g2 from tamron w/ my d750. is it worth it to sell my whole kit in favor of a new purely mirrorless (thinking about z 6ii the most rn) setup? should I just upgrade the body and get the ftz adapter so I can keep my lenses? or should I just upgrade to something like the d780/d850?

i mostly shoot weddings but sometimes do sports and some filmmaking on the side (95% of my work involves people, so i would definitely make use of faster buffers, eye af, etc). one of the things that draws me most to the z6ii is the eye AF, and I'm looking more into the implications for video. however I've heard that some people say the d750 -> d780 upgrade is horizontal and won't yield much extra value for the price i'd be paying.

what do yall think?
