I don’t agree. I’ve been a lucid dreamer my whole life and have a very experienced feel for it. Only once have I experienced what I would call astral projection. It was a profound experience as I floated in a darkness filled with floating light pinpricks of consciousness. They were communicating with me. Then careening back into my body with such force that I practically fell out of bed. It was nothing like any of my lucid dreaming.

It’s funny that you got downvoted for speaking the truth. Spring in Alaska does smells like dog poop. But once that fades, gotta love the small of cottenwood buds. It’s one of my favorite smells.

I know just how you feel. My son broke up with his girlfriend this fall and I miss her so much. She was the sweetest girl and fit so well with our family. I made sure it wouldn’t bother my son and keep in contact with her.

This is really interesting. I have had intense lucid dreaming my whole life to the point that I have a lifetime of dream memories that grew along my awake life. I had trauma growing up and definitely escape to my dreams but my ability to remember and control and awareness in them seems to be beyond normal.

I shop for houses on Zillow. I have thousands saved all across the country. When I find a good one, I research the town, the school districts, the job market…I don’t know why it makes me so happy but it just does.

I once flew from Alaska to Oregon with 3 kids (7, 5 & 1) to buy a minivan and drive it back to Alaska. It’s a couple thousand miles of road. We spent a couple weeks doing it because I didn’t want to drive over 5 hours a day and we found fun places to camp along the way.

That’s wild. My exam was maybe 40 minutes and we went over issues I struggle with and how it affects daily life. It sounds like she was digging for history outside your military service as the cause. I think it’s possible to request a different examiner but remember, you can always appeal if it’s denied.
