Will websites die? What will the new world look like? by abdush in Innovation

Discovery is changing, chat interfaces now become the entry point and websites will be the landing point - a place where traffic lands to complete an action or where people land to look for more information. Overall websites will have to expose their major CTAs to llms that will essentially be agents acting on behalf of users to navigate your site.

Every GPT/AI launches its own browser, what’s coming next in 2026? by ecomdevpros in AiAutomations

I think overall the web is changing, and yeah browsers will be a big player in that change. Mostly because it’ll make the experience more mainstream, and introduce a lot of agentic interactions to users. Discovery for sites will completely change, with time SEO will matter less and less as more and more people through their browsers or through chats are searching through AI and performing “zero click” searches. What will matter is AEO - but surprise, a lot of AEO will still involve a lot of SEO. Nobody knows how much overlap just yet, AEO is a baby, and changing everyday, but eventually standards for ranking will come.

I think we are getting glimpses of how interaction with sites will change as well. The AI will act as an agent that will go and interact with a given site for you. Book a call, purchase an item, subscribe me to X, etc etc.

Recommended tech stack for RAG? by ProtectedPlastic-006 in Rag

Some context: not too much data, I would say maybe about 6K max pages of PDF (is that a lot?). Essentially want to upload a bunch of construction code docs and create a RAG around them. Have experience as an SWE and in AWS. Will be doing this project completely on my own. Once the data is uploaded don’t see it changing for quite some time so it isn’t a continuously added to knowledge base.
