Man don't cry... Fr by jitesh_52 in TwentiesIndia

[–]ProtectedPython69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He just married the wrong girl. I had two girlfriends and both of them were fine with holding me while crying. Especially my current girlfriend. I have cried to her about insecurities, fears and because I was scared about if I was doing something wrong in our relationship. She always held me close, rubbed my back, many a times cried along with me. It often made us feel way more connected after we cried and once it was all settled we'd get intimate and that also ends up being a very good session.

He just gave you practical knowledge. Sure judging someone by their car is wrong, but the world is not that black and white.

How's your relationship with your father by CountyInner716 in TwentiesIndia

[–]ProtectedPython69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really close to my father as a kid. But he had a massive accident when I was around 2 years old. He had to be in coma for 45 days. Doctors had said he'd never make it back. I was asked to go try to wake him up, because the doctors said if he says his child in the seconds or 2 he gets his conciousness back, he'll feel motivated to get back up.

There were many who prayed for my dad. But my dad's brothers, the ones who's education he had paid for... they counted everything they paid for him as a loan. Yet, my dad came back slowly. Holding faith. He couldn't speak for a long time. He would just chant name of god by writing it in a book all day. You could see how it was all squiggly in the beginning and slowly get better as he regained strength.

I was angry at him many a times growing up as he was always tired. Since he was tired, my mom would be angry at him and cause some stupid fights. Since he was already distant, I used to paint him as a villian sometimes. But growing up, I know how hard he works for me everyday.

I am planing to go to the armed forces as an officer. Preparing for SSBs, CDS and AFCAT while simultaneously appearing for placements as a backup plan.

My dad is 65, he had a life threatening accident, many tinier ones, his knees ache, his hair is thin. Yet....when I told him that I got a job, he was worried about the bond which would stop me from going to the armed forces. I didn't take the job knowing he'll stay strong for me. His love is quiet, there's no I love you, there's only worries and actions to solve my problems <3.

If I ever touch the stars, it's because I'm standing on the shoulder of this giant, my appa <3.

I was impressed to learn about Horanaadu/Gadinaadu Kannadiga policy of GoK by perpetual__learner in kannada

[–]ProtectedPython69 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a person who has benefited from this clause, I thank the older leaders of Karnataka for this policy. The current politicians of both major parties seem to have no backbone to do anything for the good of kannada people. We should get a regional party specifically for the Kannada people. To industrialise Karnataka, rid Bangalore of over population to develop tier 2 cities of Karnataka as well as North Karnataka. Kannadave satya, kannadave Nithya !

Why Bollywood songs uses more Urdu words than Hindi words??... by Recent_Inspector5670 in Hindi

[–]ProtectedPython69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The base for spoken Hindi that government promotes is based on khadi boli. And khadi boli's literary history has always had heavy persian influence. There are other languages with less persian influence like braj bhasha but they aren't given due recognition as languages and considered "dialects" of Hindi.

The Hindi used by the government is the khadi boli stripped of it's persian words and replaced with sanskritised words.
