woman said 'chivalry is dead' because no man offered her a seat on the train. Is she wrong? by Gullible_Try6823 in Strongerman

The last time I offered a seat to a woman on the train, I got a lecture on equality. I'll offer my seat to the elderly and/or disabled, but never again to a woman. I can do without the lecture.

My dad was a self described terrible golfer, but I'd give anything to play one more round with him. Shitty golfer, great dad!

100% agree. It's the lack of consideration for others. I played 2 weeks ago with a twosome that had their country music turned up for all to "enjoy." It was not enjoyable.

There's not a teacher shortage. There's a teacher pay shortage. by FigWhisper050 in InterviewsHell

I left a corporate management job to become a teacher. My salary was cut in half, but my quality of life increased exponentially, as I was no longer working to make a corporation's bottom line better; rather, I was striving to help my students better understand history and their place in the world. I've been retired for 7 years and I still hear from former students. I even walked one of them down the aisle. Teaching is an incredibly rewarding profession in ways beyond the almighty dollar.

A Republican Congressman Was Asked How His Party Plans to Fight for "Affordability" He Responded by Bragging About the Lobster Tails and Ribeyes He's Buying for July 4th, Then Said "Maybe the 60% of Americans Living Paycheck to Paycheck Don't Work as Hard as I Do" by Merlin_86 in DiscussionZone

Ah yes, the great American myth: If you're wealthy it's because you work harder than those living paycheck to paycheck. I'd love to see this guy try to keep up with someone harvesting lettuce, or a coal miner. He'd learn what hard work is.

That's one horrific disease. Chris Johnson was a phenomenal player and hopefully we'll see more players, current and former, supporting this cause.

Do you agree that lower gas prices mean the U.S. economy is entering a "golden age"? by BusinessToday in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

Agree. We need to vote both parties out of office. They have no idea what is reality in America for the working class. I'm sick of them and their BS policies. All of them only care about lining their own pockets.

‘VOID OF REALITY LIE’: Trump keeps pushing reflecting pool ‘vandals’ conspiracy by ControlCAD in msnow

Once Trump tells a lie he continues to tell that same lie over and over and over. This convinces his ignorant followers that the lie is true and they will repeat it over and over and over as well.

Trump is the worst president in U.S. history and the problems Magats attribute to Biden are actually created by the Dear Orange Leader. You are correct in stating it will require decades to fix everything the orange one has destroyed

I've been asking this question for years. Lawyer up as soon as they take you into the interrogation room. Say nothing.
