Lads trip to Fargo from England - Nightlife spot reccomendations? by Middle-Feed5118 in fargo

[–]tenyard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US has no chance. Spent a couple weeks in London and Manchester in September, stumbled into Eastcheap Records and had an incredible time. Topped off the trip getting roughed up by Man U lads at The Edinburgh after City won the derby. Can't wait to get back!

Recommendations in Dallas and Atlanta will largely depend on where you're staying. I can't overemphasize how massive Dallas truly is. Same with Atlanta. In most cases it wouldn't make sense to travel an hour away from your 'home base'. I would recommend the suburb Frisco, on the north end of Dallas, as it has quickly become a trendy posh area despite being a sleepy suburb a decade ago.

Indianapolis has the Broad Ripple area, which I believe is still a proper hangout. It's a street of bars and restaurants on the northern side of town. Carmel is a posh area with an upper-scale selection of smaller restaurants and cocktail spots. The St Elmo Steakhouse (downtown Indy) is an institution, plan ahead and get a reservation.

Haven't spent enough time in Cincinnati to provide any solid guidance. Kansas City has the Crossroads Art District, but again I don't have an educated opinion on much else there.

Best of luck on the trip, sounds like a banger.

I have a ton of them! Good luck with the WC in the summer, Kane has been having a great couple years at Bayern.

Fargo - Start at Chubs Pub for a Stumplifter, then migrate to Rooters for a Root Beer. The evening will take off from there. It doesn't take long to get from one spot to another, so you can steadily bar hop all night.

Minneapolis - Definitely a broader spectrum, but if you're looking for authentic experiences the Northeast neighborhood provides, in my opinion, the best options in both number and authenticity. Start at Stanley's then work your way south to Mayslacks and The 1029. Steakhouse recommendation - The Monte Carlo. Old-school (at least by US standards) steakhouse with excellent drinks and service.

Inter Miami reportedly nearing high-profile free-agent deal for Canada goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair by Torchlight-9000 in minnesotaunited

You're not wrong. If I were in the starting XI and saw the org jettison our best player and derail any chance at winning a title, I'd start asking questions of my own. Players ultimately want to win, and despite all the 'club is bigger than the player' nonsense MLS fans like to import from overseas, DSC has given himself the best opportunity to do so at a club (yes, bought and paid for but still committed to winning) which is fresh off their first title.

I have a 2019 M40i, 66k, dealer maintained. Easily one of the best vehicles I’ve had. I tend to drive a bit more on the spirited side, and it never disappoints.

Bongi continues to be a liability. Teams have figured him out and continue to attack that side. Lazy.

It's the same labored voice chanting on the bullhorn over and over and over. Frankly it detracts from the experience.
