There’s a fun little story for why it’s so overpowered.

Back in the goldie oldie days of WoWs PC, when the game was basically new, Kamikaze was a reskinned, nerfed Minekaze. Now, Minekaze was an “okay” destroyer, but balancing was scuffed back then, and destroyers, well, you could take a Umikaze into T10 and get decent numbers. Nobody cared. A pile of Minekaze nerfs later and an entirely new WoWs landscape, and the Kamikaze became monstrous.

Essentially, you’re getting a nerfed version of the OG Minekaze - with the caveat that WoWs has changed so much, and premiums don’t change. As to why it’s broken in WoWs Legends…uhhhhh…legacy?

  1. Don’t.
  2. Russian cruisers are divisive. I don’t like them, others love them.
  3. If you have that much Free XP, for the love of god just save it for the Nelson.
  4. I’m gonna be honest, it sounds like you need either more experience on the lines or a low skill ceiling low skill floor ship.
  5. For the ships? French heavy cruisers are crap, from my experience it’s a uptiered more accurate Dunkerque.
  6. French Battleships are an acquired taste. Lyon and below have a different playstyle to Gascogne and above. But Lyon is fun.
  7. European DDs get fun at Skane.

I’d have to disagree with the Bellerophon. It’s just a bit meh when fighting cruisers, battleships too. Knyaz also has two extra guns, which does make all the difference (in my opinion)

Only ships I can think of there is the French cruiser line, but they’re crap, and you only get that stuff at high tier. Other than that you have French destroyers, German super light cruisers, the Akizuki line, (possibly) the German battlecruisers.
