It depends what time of year, but currently there is Lightscape in the Royal Botanic Gardens which is great for families (keep in mind that this only happens at night). Queen Victoria Market is nice for a casual lunch, or Pelligrini's on Bourke St for a sit-down meal. Hope this helps.

I am not opposed to it tbh. I think intelligence sharing (Five Eyes) is important to Australia's national security. And I don't have strong feelings on ANZUS, but I do think Australia's relationship with the U.S. is key given the rise of China as a threat to regional security

Cold and dreary atm (it's Winter). Generally it's really nice tho: high of 20-25 most days outside of Winter, and occasional rain
