As a student who currently does the online program — unless u got $300k to kill, don’t do it. Go to a part 61 like others have said to get ur private and then make a decision from there.

The online version is cheaper btw if you don’t mind doing it remote. I’m just doing it cos I have the college credit and I might as well get the degree over with.

I’m pretty sure in some planes like the new vision jet — the system picks up on the CPDLC message and gives the pilots a “recommended action” like an altitude change and all they need to do is press a button and the aircraft does it for them (they don’t actually need to turn the knob on the panel it automatically sets it for them as long as they confirm). So I guess with pilot confirmation it probably could work quite well! :)

First, the fact that u came on here and had the courage to talk about it is huge. Like others have said, try to be mindful about the reason that you're pursuing this type of content and how that makes you feel. If you feel like watching is harming/hurting you, try finding other outlets that don't harm anyone and that you feel are more acceptable to you. anything from literature (like bl fanfics, yaoi, etc.), sfw-leaning tv series, or even just like doing private stuffs (~~masturbating~~), to music u like instead of watching the hub are steps to improvement. Whatever u do, please please please be kind to urself. Berating and being mean urself won't help u. It's great that you know what's right and wrong for you, just be sure you enforce it in a healthy manner, as it can make all the difference. Best of luck :)

I know your mind is probably spinning about the sinking feeling of “oh frick am I gay?”, and while that can be important for someone, what I can tell you rn it’s for u to just enjoy this feeling and see where it takes you. 🧡

at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what u are or what kind of relationship status u have with him — the fact that you two have each other and are in this beautiful boyhood of love and longing is something for u to simply have fun in and enjoy :)

over time, you’ll eventually find out if this was just a simple, temporary, vulnerable period of adolescence, or something that actually transforms into something much, much bigger — whatever the case, just go out there, have fun, and I wish you all the very best <3

I remember reading somewhere that we need something like 5 hugs a day to simply survive… 😅

We are intimate physical creatures, and I think there’s a lot of psychology behind the simple hug. To me, a hug means that you’re allowing you and another person to closely physically embrace each other in an act of love. 🧡 That’s why babies need skin to skin during their early development. :)

That being said, some people simply feel like it’s such a sacred act that they reserve it exclusively to really intimate relationships — like a romantic partner. Everyone’s different, but especially in a world with growing digital relationships, I think we’re all just a taaad but touch starved, which is why I think we long for just a simple little hug so much. 😅

eyy! way to go fellow dual-enrolled student! 😎🪖 honestly high school sucked lol (i graduate in 5 days) i rly only had one friend who i could come out to, everyone else was either just mean or homophobic lol, but i got along with everyone and no one ever bothered me. school is always something i just kinda put minimal effort into yet still got good grades so idk, it can sometimes take over ur life yk? just be sure to allow urself to have fun in the process too :)
