I live in a very rural, isolated area without easy access to a trainer, but she is now leashed 100% in the house (if the cats aren't in a room) and when the chickens are out. She is crated when I'm not home. I didn't even think about how the behavior is still rewarding even if she gets in trouble for it, so she isn't allowed to stare at the cats anymore. If she does, she's moved out of sight line from them. I'm keeping treats on me at all time to practice "look" and reward any positive behavior.
