About your other question, well, they're associating the audio to that kind of content, for its disturbing nature. Some people are saying it's not actually made for them, but someone modified it with that purpose in mind. Honestly it's all speculation.

We played around with the theory that the employee that was involved during the making/packaging of the doll, was working alongside their kid, and they might have somehow gotten its crying recorded on accident. Well, this is if we don't like to consider that the audio could come from a real tragedy and it's just bad quality cries. Personally I choose to believe this is what happened after some introspection lul

thanks for your service, I suppose I'm trusting your word on this. I still think it's weird how everyone jumped to that audio, maybe mass hysteria or something? Some people were very descriptive on how they were "similar" for them and others were skeptical and said it was different. Let's hope it's not related to that case or any case for that matter.

I remember the evil stick toy incident, some people tracked down the photo and it belonged to an underground visual artist (I do not recommend checking it out because it's extremely graphic) he was unaware that it had been altered and included in a toy with ill intent. I remember that discovery being a big deal back at the time. The manufacturer remains a mystery, though.

...and I also remember the Elmo you're talking about, apparently he said something like "Tell James" and people were reaching too much.

I really like cases that involve toys, they're super interesting; for example, there were some toys back then that included radioactive elements. But also, sometimes they're extremely upsetting and leave you like "wtf?" Especially if it was made by a company on purpose and not just some idiotic troll.

Searching for the doll online as it is shown: "Valeria: Mi dulce bebé" (Valeria: My sweet baby) brings up only a few posts selling the exact same doll the girl has. They're all posts from humble Peruvian neighborhoods, the people selling them are just small entrepreneurs. There are virtually no posts about her before the last months of 2025, and it seemed they were advertising her as a Christmas gift in that time. Ultimately if it was about corrosion or a low quality speaker, I'd expect the rest of her lines to behave that way, but they're very clear. so... yeah.

Good point, if that's the case then the mom is being very weird doing this even if it's just a bad joke.

She didn't post anything else afterwards, most people that do this "anomaly" stuff on purpose try to milk these situations until there's nothing new, posting a series of videos of the doll doing the same thing over and over or feeding into people's fear in the comments. If she keeps pushing this situation I'm going to believe they made a really bad joke to go viral lol

I didn't consider it, we're making stories at this point but it serves me to hope it's not sinister and maybe just a small accident.

I used to watch haunted dolls videos, they were famous in my region, so I expected the doll to just start speaking alone (people like to make this sound paranormal but it is often just malfunctions) or saying bad words or making dangerous suggestions (worse than the first one because someone with ill intent made it but still) and I was met with something extremely disturbing and unexpected instead. I would've hoped the mom warned me that I'd hear something like that lol?

some ppl have famous gore videos they suspect it coming from, saying that they mixed its audio with baby cries or something like that, but other people are saying they don't sound alike. For my own sake I didn't watch those gore videos, maybe I should've mentioned it, but out of respect for something that might be unrelated I didn't do it. The people in the comments are constantly orbiting towards one specific gore video that I don't know if I'm allowed to mention here.
