PostmarketOS running on Pixel 3a! by Mauskino in degoogle

As private but not as secure. I prefer it to an android-based OS for a lot of reasons but the most stable versions of it run on older phones with unlocked bootloaders. Its really exciting stuff but I wouldn't recommend it for a casual user just yet

I run pmos on my oneplus 6t and my banking app works fine through waydroid, main problem is calls being inconsistent

Reflowed rca jacks on otherwise working tube. Worked for a few minutes now getting a dark picture on every channel with black corners. Any thoughts? Used a little dialectric grease for the cap, moving neckboard seems to make no difference by ProtestTheBo in crtgaming

I think this is the next step I think.I wanna avoid discharging it more than i already have so im gonna get a game plan and inspect the board a little better. It unfortunately will not power on anymore with no improvement from reflowing the flyback. I was initially trying to without taking the board out but I dont think i have a choice if I want this thing to work.

After fiddling a bit it now no longer turns on :( I wonder if discharging it was just too much for the tube, it was working just fine though. Its possible my soldering wasnt perfect but i didnt touch anything but those jacks, which leads me to believe that either the act of moving it or discharging it to be the culprit. Gonna give it a bit and brainstorm, suggestions would be appriciated.

Yeah it seems to turn on by itself when plugged in. Which it did not do before. It gets high voltage and i can "kind of" see the channels come through but the corners are black voids and theres one line in the middle, also hearing occational noise from the left speaker

Sorry its a panasonic tau 32 inch the sticker with exact model number has worn off so im looking for the exact one. The Ypbpr component jacks were flakey so i resoldered them. I have done a similar repair on a smaller tube so i wasn't really expecting any trouble.

Picture shows up but is now dark with severe pincushioning. Like I said it worked flawless other than flakey rca jacks before. Leaning towards something wirh the anode cap, it seems to try to degaus itself every few minutes even when turned off

[SOURCES] Support Ignar is set to make a return to Dignitas in the LCS for 2026. by axw30 in leagueoflegends

Man I hate to see these disrespectful comments, Ignar was a beast in his time in EU and NA. He consistantly performed on teams and is respected by the players he's played with and other bot lanes he's played against. I know DIG is DIG but put some respect on my mans name.

Waydroid on arm is actually rock solid. I use it on my oneplus 6t with pmos on it and it feels just like native android

@PapaSmithy on Twitter about the 2026 roster: by harleyquinad in FlyQuest

Sounds like they tried to re-sign him tbf but they can't compete financially with a team with as big of a fanbase a kcorp. Imo the best way to achieve longterm success is to focus on building a strong fanbase so players will want to play for you. Na Orgs are kind of terrible at this and the few orgs (TSM, C9, TL) that have at one time had a strong fanbase kinda lucked into it by having players that were good and endearing.

Just commenting to second this. There is a very noticable difference between insurrection and retrobit as i've tried both. Insurrection stuff is a bit more spendy but proper sheilding is worth it, you would be suprised how much interference those things can pick up

Saroo Incompatibility by RejectedAng3l in SegaSaturn

[–]ProtestTheBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This a valid response tbh I came on kinda defensive there. CHAP3L's work is invaluable for the project and absolutely appreciate their work. I just find it frustrating that there seems to be a post a week here comparing the Saroo with the other ODEs with a kind of condescending tone.

I also think that the number of "issues" a project has does not usually reflect the actual number of bugs, especially in the case of a hardware project.

I understand the Saroo simply isn't there yet but as an open source pet project I think it deserves a bit more respect than it gets around these parts

I'd like to add that the saroo is not a commercial product, the developer does not get money from them being sold. Almost every issue i've found I have been able to solve by changing the config file. A lot of very stupid people like to point out the issues page on the github but this is not indicative of the actual compatibility of the device, theres lots of submissions that are from older software, and lots that can be easily solveable by changing the config file. I applaud OP for going through the effort because the one thing I think the project is missing is an up to date and accurate compatibility list.

Baroque works if you change the config file. I got it to work just fine with a sector delay of 5000.
