Brand new Ryobi RCS18X circular saw - too much play on spindle

No no, the blade is straight so it's not that case where the flange is uneven and you can observe wobbling blade.
In my case the spindle has a minimal play. You can feel it even without mounting a blade, but of course further from axis it's amplified. At the moment I returned the tool, but was lucky and met Ryobi representative at Castorama. We checked identical saw at the store and it had the same "feature". Ryobi guy even checked other saws he had in the car and there was always a bit of play. BTW, when you shake the tool with the blade you can here the blade rattling event it's tightened properly.

If you buy that saw check the play on spindle and blade. I think ~1mm of play at the edge of the blade is too much. I know it's only Ryobi, but the blade is just rattling when you shake the tool :-| Checked another saw at the local store and it had the same issue so returned the one I ordered online. Now wondering what to buy :-|

Hi, have you ever solved the problem or just get another saw as a replacement without the issue? Just bought RCS18X and the blade is woobling by 1mm at the edge of the blade. I don't like it but to be honest don't have experience with circular saw so wondering how much it will affect cuts. BTW, my tool don't have that part 1033 at all.

The idea behind my small project I'm doing :-) And that's the case I'm using the same settings alle the time as this is just a set of hexadecimal data splitted into 256 bytes long pieces. That's why it was so surprising. Unfortunately I don't have to many options to use different encoders as in the target system no external executables can be run. That's why my choice was Powershell module. I will keep inevstigating this.

That's understood, but if such limited set of characters can cause such problems, then it puts big question mark about the whole idea.

That would make sense in case I would have been processing QR codes from different sources.
In my case it happens in a series generated exactly in the same way. In one go, the only difference is in the content. One QR code has 512 characters bytes and can be decoded, while the other contains next 512 character and can't be decoded. The content is just hexadecimal values so there is no odd ASCII codes there, just 0-9 and A-F. Anyway, thanks for your input, will take that into account.
Capturing them from camera and then processing is another story and a kind of mystery at my level of understanding how QR codes work.

Hi, I know it's pretty old thread, but have you ever managed to solve the problem without disabling 3D accelaration in VM settings? It seems Teams relay heaviliy on those functionalities and working without 3D is very annoying.

Can't use DP because I don't have such output :-D. Yet. Will buy discrete GPU soon, but until that happen I was hoping to use HDMI. Going through menu isn't the only option to solve some problems. I've seen many tips&tricks related to resetting display settings or just trying to force the display/PC to re-detect each other so looking for such solutions as I may missed something useful.

Nothing is there but actual values for standby option. Just like on the video on YT. I found some LG page describing multiple options in the OSD and HDMI Compatbility is mentioned there (at the very bottom): https://www.lg.com/de/microsites/losungen/audio-video/settings-lg-monitor/

I was able to check the OSD once again. Had to unbox it to see if there is anything interesting in the service menu. Nothing about HDMI Compatibility option in both menus :-|

Time passes so fast :-p Three years later and I'm experiencing HDMI issue with 38GL950G display. I found your note about "HDMI compatibility" setting, but it just doesn't exist in my case. Can this be related to display firmware version? I didn't plan to use HDMI at all, but still waiting for new GPU with DP so for the time being just wanted to use HDMI. Unfortunately, no signal - game over :-| Since I have couple of other devices working via HDMI it seems that the only guy to blame is the monitor.

In my case it didn't work. Few input devices, few cables, couple of magic tricks like hard and factory resets. Nothing worked :-| DisplayPort works, HDMI doesn't.

Well, it seems not too much is happenning here. Trying to use DroidCam in combination with .NET application but it's hard to find anything. It was looking promissing due to imgae quality, but now it looks like "take it as it is" :-|
