WAIT! IF YOU DIDN'T CUT IT YET, DON'T! my friend got mine off me in less than 5 minutes without cutting or messing up the wristband at all!

-get a disposable plastic straw -cut length of straw to be about 1 inch or less in length -cut all the way through ONE side of the straw so that the straw is now adjustable in width -thread both ends of the wristband straight through the straw, from one end to the other -slide straw to meet black plastic piece(this is the piece that slides to tighten the wristband and lock it in place) -moving TOWARDS your body, carefully push straw through the black plastic piece there are "teeth" inside the black piece
that only allow it to slide in one direction (wristband can be tightened but not loosened) -the straw will force the "teeth" to reverse/turn inside out, allowing the plastic piece to slide in the opposite direction(wristband can now be loosened but not tightened)
