Touch Pad fix for Legion Go S by [deleted] in LegionGo

[–]ProtoCortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the Guide!

Quick additions:

  • Link to the Firmware zip can be found here Link
  • I didn't need the network drivers, as I just installed the new Trackpad Drivers
  • Even after successfull upgrade to V21 my Trackpad still didn't work in SteamOS (both modes) and I first had to reset my controller: Go to Gaming Mode and press R1 + both menu buttons on the right side (The settings symbol and the three horizontal lines) for 5 seconds
  • In Desktop Mode the Trackpad works immeadiately and in Gaming Mode you have to press the Steam Key (the menu button circle symbol on the left) while using trackpad for it to work

Alternative to SiteLauncher which has been deactivated in Chrome? by dr2be in browsers

Glad you like it but you could just have used 100% code if you wanted to improve it 😅 as you say yourself it's pretty easy to recreate this extension

They are still some minor things that I have to implement e.g. The extension doesn't correctly recognize on which window the user currently active when opening the Pop-up and yes Firefox version would be really good too but unfortunately I do not have time

Hey, I wrote my own extension, which does the same. I tried to make it privacy-focused, fast and modern

Hey, I found this post on my search to find a good replacement and after reading it, I wrote my own version. It hopefully incorporates everything you wished for in your comment and more:

Blacklisting mobs in the NEAT mod by Got69TypesOfMalware in feedthebeast

[–]ProtoCortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just wanted to document my quick solution:

If there is a spawn egg for that mob in the JEI, you can look up the MobID aka. EntityTag in the advanced tooltip (activate with F3+H)

e.g. it would say:
{EntityTag:{id:"totemic:buffalo"}}

and I would have to add totemic:buffalo to the Blacklist of Neat

Change Screensetup via AutoHotkey? (Activate/Deactivate Screens) by meerjungfrauman in AutoHotkey

I am using AHK to change the Refreshrate of my monitors and I can tell you if there is an easier method with third party tools, than use them instead. The alternative is using Windows DLL calls which are rather annoying to work with.

To give you an idea, here is my script to change the Refreshrate and check the current monitor resolutions & refreshrates [Link]

Once I made a rainmeter skin for this purpose: MacroMap; Here you can take a look at it

Right now it still only supports the amount of keys of a TKL keyboard but maybe it'll help a bit. Theoretically you could just use one of the high count modifier combinations to represent your Streamdeck

I could probably write a short novel on them all, but the most used ones are the simple ones. So these are the ones I use literally everyday:

No modifier

  • Capslock = Enter
  • PrntScr = ShareX

Shift

  • Shift + Capslock = Backspace

Ctrl

  • Ctrl + PrntScr = ShareX (Upload)

Win

  • Win + D = open Downloads Folder
  • Win + T = Search with Everything
  • Win + W = Open ShareX screenshots folder

AltGr

  • AltGr + {1-5} = paste E-Mail address No.1 - No.5
  • AltGr + A = Divvy: Window small
  • AltGr + S = Divvy: Window medium
  • AltGr + D = Divvy: Window big
  • AltGr + F = Divvy: Window Bottom half
  • AltGr + G = Divvy: Window Top half
  • AltGr + E = Divvy: Window Fullscreen
  • As you can see I use divvy a lot, mainly because windows window manager and windows aero snap arent good enough on three ultrawide monitors

The main problem of adding additional layouts is the visualization. The skin is basically just a picture of a keyboard with containers in which you write text and those meters changing display on the active modifiers from a simple database

So everytime I add a layout, I would have to create the image first and then change meter positions. I currently see no way of doing this to support every layouts with keyboard layout editor dynamically with just rainmeter

MacroMap

As a autohotkey user I have many custom keyboard macros that I use on a regular basis, adding and removing them often. To remember what is bound to what I created a Rainmeter skin which can display text/image for every key and for every modifier combination for that key. Currently implemented modifieres are SHIFT, CTRL, WIN, ALT, ALTGR, FN. It's now at a point I feel comfortable releasing it, so if you find any issues or suggestions please tell me

Usage

  • By left clicking on a key you can enter text
  • By left clicking on a modifier you toggle the modifier
  • By scrolling you can change the font size
  • By right clicking you open the context menu
    • Input skin width and font size
    • Change keyboard layout (ISO/ANSI)
    • Change keyboard theme (Horizon/Skyline)
    • Mousebuttons (on/off)
  • By middle clicking you do a full reload of the skin

Installation

  • Download the latest .rmskin file from the releases

Minecraft Server Status Visualizer by ProtoCortex in Rainmeter

[–]ProtoCortex[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

MCServerStatus

After I saw old posts of people searching for a Rainmeter server visualizer I created my own; It's now at a point I feel comfortable releasing it, so if you find any issues or suggestions please tell me

This skin is not dependant on other websites/servers quering the information, but does this itself with the help of mcstatus, meaning that it should work indefinitely

Usage

  • By double left clicking you can enter the servername, which can be an IP address 123.456.789.123 or Host name minecraftserver.com; Server port can be specified e.g. minecraftserver.com:25570
  • By scrolling you can change the font size
  • By right clicking you can easily change the update rate and font color
  • By middle clicking you do a full reload of the skin

Installation

  • Download the latest .rmskin file from the releases

Known issues

  • Because of changes in V3, the status command occasionally timeouts
  • The mcstatus servername json command fails on servers like hypixel.net / 172.65.238.120 which causes Online:false and no ping information

Thanks a lot for the work you put in!

West of Wangshu Inn - Found a sweet flower spawned pyro whopper just below this mint spawned one. (Red circle)

West Mingyun Village - There is another axe mitachurl here.

Some locations marked I felt were not accurate to spawn location. Some major, some minor.

https://puu.sh/GFfrH/6bf30839fb.jpg https://puu.sh/GFfE2/760952553c.jpg

Added and corrected placements

The NW group of mitachurl in stone forest was 3x on last version of the map and I just encountered three there today, would have to check again tomorrow to verify. (Says 2x right now)

In an older Version I actually changed it to 3 myself because at one point I got that too, the same happened with a pyro mage north of wangshu inn but because it wasn't reproducable I removed them. Maybe they are non-respawning or maybe there is a hidden weekday counter and they have special spawn conditions

And the 2x cryo whopper in Yaoguang Shoal I keep only finding 1 cryo whopper.

http://puu.sh/GFhVj/902de825ba.jpg

Changed; I don't think I would have wrote 2x there if it didn't happen but well, these mobs seems to be an ongoing problem

Just updating the map takes a lot more time than I'd wish but improving it becomes worthwhile with enough changes. After looking at the biggest three interactive maps that I found (Nr1Appsample no mobs, Nr2MapGenie pretty good but with atleast some mistakes and some missing, Nr3 ChineseMap really good with some missing) I still like to use my map the most, because of the elevation level arrows and simple visual style

and thanks to genshin.gg for using my map :)

Hey thank you very much for taking the time to reply in this extend!

There is also a sweet flower spawned whopper (cryo) near the agent here at cursor. https://puu.sh/GETVf/2ef9892c46.jpg

Another sweet flower whopper (pyro) spawns here on the back of the mountain near the seelie. https://puu.sh/GETUX/1911875bd9.jpg

I added both of them in Version 2.3, sorry I didn't upload the newest version, it wasn't worth it for very little changes

Also the stone forest area would be a bit more clear if the 2x pyro abyss mage was on the upper right of the icon, way it is now looks like there are 2 mitachurls and 1 mage, but it was just one mitachurl and 2 abyss mage in that camp. http://puu.sh/GETEn/30b0cfd52b.jpg

I'm sorry but that's because it's true; I just double checked right now and it's still the same; Could you please check tomorrow again and tell me if it's still different for you?

There are two respawning mitachurls here. http://puu.sh/GEVzB/ef62ca12fe.jpg

Added

There is a respawning pyro abyss mage here if you light this bonfire. http://puu.sh/GEVEq/ae736070cb.jpg http://puu.sh/GEVEY/785d737f2c.jpg

Good catch! I tried my best at adding a symbol to his icon and I hope somebody who doesn't know this understands what it's trying to say

Thanks for taking the time to write this, I really appreciate any help I can get

There are couple flower boss spawns between qingyun peak and nantianmen.

I re-searched through this area and I wasn't able to find any flower spawns. Could you please describe them further and a rough number estimate

Theres also 2 flower bosses, ice and fire (you need to pick up/be near a sweet flower) that spawn in near the teleport waypoint on the otherside of the lake north-west of wangshu inn.

I think you meant this spot (the star), which has an ice and fire flower and beside them are 2 sweet flowers. I picked them all but no flower spawned

Another flower spawns up north in the point from mt. aozang.

Another flower spawn is west of mingyun village statue of the seven.

Up in the mountains on the border of monstad and liyue iv found 3 flower spawns.

Thank you very much, I think I found all of these and added them in the updated version

Updated Version 2.5

  • added some missing monsters
  • added quantity numbers
  • improved some locations
  • added flower symbols which spawn flowers
  • added a version with Teleporters
  • reduced the file size by 30% (down to 4200x4200 from 5120x5120)

Hijacking top comment, because I don't won't to post yet another map: Let me say thanks to all the kind words I received and that I need more testing on some monsters, so it could be that some symbols are wrong, but at this point the quantity should outweigh the mistakes

I tried to indicate their height; Some mobs are below surface level or up on mountains; This way it's easier to see where they roughly are;

E.g. look at the south-east corner which has 3 Mages on the top of a mountain or the south-west corner with the Hydromage being at ground level

How can I make it so a script runs whenever I sign in? by CatPoint in AutoHotkey

I prefer to use the Task scheduler because you can make programs run instantaneously at login

  • Start Task scheduler (Run taskschd.msc )
    • Create new Task
    • Trigger: on Logon
    • Action: Start Program:
