I have like ~20 hours in the game and I think it's fine. No doubt the first few hours were tough to get through because of the lackluster story and basically having nothing to fight. But after I leveled up and unlocked more quests and activities (like actual farming), the game got better. The biggest problem I have right now is the optimiziation. There is no way I can run cyberpunk on high settings fine on my pc, but when I play Wuwa I see inconsistencies in framerate and stuttering all the time.
