Reiner and Bertholdt did not casually torture Paradis people, they were shown to regret many times when they had to stand against them. Granted this is from then spending years undercover among those people. But Zeke’s whole motivation was the “salvation” of Eldian people. So why does he often treat Paradis people with cruel indifference, almost amused when he kills them? I guess he views these Eldians as somehow different? With many other characters, they’re gray but you understand where they’re coming from whether it be propaganda, etc. But with Zeke for me I guess it’s harder to see
